Should i call NVC now or wait?

Hi everyone!

My I-130 petition for my mom has been approved. I received a hard copy of the approved letter on March 21st. Should i start calling the NVC for case number now or wait minimum 30 days as what the instruction on the approved letter says? I read somewhere on this forum that people start calling NVC for case number about 1-1.5 weeks after the approved notice date.

This is the first time i am dealing with immigration application and i really need you guys' help.

We almost had the same day on getting our application approved. I plan to call them around second to third week of April. But I believe it won't hurt if you start calling them next week. Here's a NVC process guide to answer most of your questions. If ever you come up with one. :D

My mom's case was approved on 03/17/2014. I called them on 03/21/2014 and 03/24/2014 and they had not received the case yet. I called them again on 03/28/2014 and they had received it as of 03/25/2014 but a case number was not assigned. I have been calling them every Monday and Friday since then because I have seen others get their case number in less than 30 days.

they forward my dad's approved papers to nvc on jan 7. i called nvc re my petion onjan 14 said that its not in their system yet and to call them again in a week.. so i called them on jan 21st its already in their system.. told me again to call in a month..so on feb 24. i called and got my case no. and invoice id no. just keep calling them :)
