Hii!! Congrats on getting your Green Card so soon. I had a question for you or anyone out there reading this. Me and my fiance plan to get married this summer in August. We want to work on getting his green card as soon as possible, he's been here for almost 9 years and went to school for 4 years here in Texas. Does that make it any easier for him to get his green card? He didnt come here by choice he was only 13.

When you say he didn't come to the US by choice when he was 13, did he enter the US on some sort of legal visa with his family? Or is he undocumented? It makes a difference in his ability to get a green card.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

If anything it might make it more difficult.

We'll need a lot more info. How did he arrive, what has he been doing since, has he maintained legal status, has he worked, if so how did he fill out the I-9, has he ever claimed (directly or indirectly) to be a US citizen, ...

He is undocumented. His dad sent for him to come work and go to school. Though his dad never took responsibility for him or looked after him. He came to work to help his mother in Mexico and for a better future. He is the oldest of his family. He works as a roofer since in the summer when he wasnt going to school and decided to drop out when he was 17 to work fulltime around the country. He filled out any I-9. There is so much to his story. I just want to know weather any of this helps. He was also jumped by some gang members at a young age and there was a report on iy but he didnt know he could do anything about it. Does that also help in any way? Thanks for your answers

*He didnt fill out any I-9.
