Sam24...

Did you get your IL yet? Keep us posted please.

No not yet :-( I am calling everyday but no luck. Yes will keep everyone posted.

But to my surprise, even on IR/CR thread I have not seen any mumbai consulate interview happening in last couple of days.

They've been doing it since 7/21 , people in IR category got IL since then

Due to priority thingy you sometimes gotta wait till there are available slots and with Mumbai being a congested city.

Yes, mumbai being very busy consulate delays are there. But it's been more than a month of waiting for me.

Now I need really need an interview date to keep me going...Ohhh god please do something.

Sam24,

I send you my well wishes and prayers. Keep it together girl, it's going to happen coming week, or may be even today. Friday has just begun in the US, give NVC another call before they close shop at 11:00 pm EST.

Thank you so much dear...I really need this now..it's becoming frustrating now....but yes I m hopeful, fingers crossed :-)

guys pls help me out with this. I sent my checklist document to nvc on 1st July for review and hopefully case complete. I was hoping to get a case complete by now or lastest by 13th July which is exactly 31 working days. Now today nvc sent me an e-mail that due to the pile document received from uscis they will have to delay my review to 60 DAYS. has anyone experience this b4??? do I really have to wait for 60 days or can I call on exactly 30 working days to verify of they have completed the case. Thanks.

hi Apple, have u been in that situation b4? if yes, did they go by their words or they exceeded the days given??. thanks.

When my case was still at NVC, maximum time for review was 20 business days. They were true to their timeline, sometimes quicker.

But the situation is different now.

Hi everybody. I'm confused a little. I received an email on Jun 5th, saying: "The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing

of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner
and attorney (if applicable) will be notified."

Does that mean that my case was complete?

So I'm waiting for the interview to be scheduled, and my lawyer said i must wait at least 8 month to get the interview date. Can it be true?

Yes you are already case complete. Congrats!

When is your priority date? No one can tell when you're going to get the interview letter as F2A is dependent on the movement of the monthly Visa Bulletin.

Yes, your case is completed since 5th June and you have to wait for your interview to get scheduled. I am not sure about the timeline, but if your PD is current it should not require 8 months. It will take 1-2 months generally if the PD is current.

Wow! Thanks for a fast reply!

2 month sounds much better than 8 month!

I'm sorry , I'm new to this forum. What is PD and how can I check if it is current?
