Hi Guys, I have been following you for a while now but just signed up with JV... I called NVC and representative said even though June VB has retrogressed :crying: they will follow the May VB till end of month so if any Interview dates open up at my embassy(Accra, Ghana) i can be scheduled for it. :wow:

so lets hope its true and not just false info...

They are lying if you ask me...

They gave IL only to people with PD >= April 2012.. why? because they knew it will retrogress until May 2012.

IMO, that's false. F2A interview schedules are finalized before the VB is released. Once VB is out, no more interview schedules will be given.

My biggest concern is that what if August makes us all current.. We are then at the mercy of NVC to go through the backlog of cases waiting to be scheduled.

I'm extremely worried that they will take priority of case completes from the most recent over us!

Since the F2A category has somehow been "restarted" by this retrogression, cases will now be processed according to priority date cut-off.

Even if somebody has been CC ahead of you, if that person's PD is not current, no interview for him/her.

Let's hope they go by priority date if it becomes current. No recent case completes (July+) should be considered to get an IL if the august bulletin becomes current

I don't think I get your point. Are you thinking that F2A will become "current" again in the coming visa bulletins?

I don't think I get your point. Are you thinking that F2A will become "current" again in the coming visa bulletins?

Our I-130 case was submitted to Vermont in April with a May PD. Ours was approved in December while a lot of June- July priority dates were completed at Vermont around September. There was no RFE or anything.. just very disorganized processing of cases.

My concern say in September/October when there is a new allocation of visa's available and it becomes current temporarily, NVC will put us in the pool of the recent Case Completes for May/June/July/August.

We should be the priority for scheduling when it becomes current again.

Indeed and their call center is just as useless as USCIS.

The only quick actions USCIS/NVC does is stealing our money as they are not providing a sufficient level of service for what we pay for. They are pure scumbags.

People think I'm negative but all I can say is that im realistic on NVC's competence.

The only realistic thing we all can hope for is if Immigration Reform passes this year because the scumbag politicians are rallying their base to get necessary votes for the mid-term elections.

Cried a lot! Went back a year for me...my PD is 24 May 2013! Its very difficult to bear. Thanks Sukhi for ur all time support. Now nothing is there in our hands.
