April Case Complete waiting for IL

5-7 days to go till new VB coming out......we will get IL once VB is out provided there are no retrogression, NVC are waiting for June VB before scheduling our interview hence only 2011 folks are getting it.

Did the NVC officer tell you that because the one I spoke to said they are currently focused on Citizens first and F2A people with 2010-2012 priority dates. They are basing all June interviews off the May Bulletin.

The NVC officer then told me that they schedule the majority of F2A interviews in the 2nd week of each month.

they do not discriminate, and they do not focus on citizen first and lpr second. they will treat you the way your file was recieved, and nvc dont give direct answers to your questions, it is the embassy which tells the nvc when to schedule an interview depening on the empty slots at their embassy.

I called this am and a very nice lady I spoke to.said that ill have interview.before he turns 21, that case couldnt be expedite. Im still going to email nvc about it just in case.

No updates as far as I know.

This is the second week of May, NVC told us once this is the week where most F2A interviews are scheduled.

Hi, Air Force Wife, your case is very close to mine. My stepson is going to turn 21 this month on May 22. He is now a derivative of my wife's case. Our case interview will be on June 11 in Ecuador.

As I understand your brother is almost in the same situation. You must substract his age less the time between the priority date and the date your aplication was approved. On my case my application was at USCIS almost two years.

Now because CSPA law exists my stepson's age is almost two years (the time between..........) less and he can go to his interview with not problem.

For immigration he just is 19 years by CSPA.

Look for information about that. Maybe that is why to operator didn't saw a problem in that case but you can be more specific now and ask if he is protected by that law.

Date visa became available MINUS days the petition was pending brings the date back to: 1/27/2012

The deadline to seek LPR status is: 11/1/2014. You sought LPR status on 3/26/2014. Hence the beneficiary is to be considered a child as per CSPA.

hey guys, NVC put my IV and AOS package into the system on 4/21/14.. how long do you think until i get case complete guys?? aghhh i was hoping soon to get interview for june.. i still have time right?
