That unfortunately for some people here, their wet dream of this having something to do with Islam doesn't seem to be coming true. How sad for those who so desperately wanted a Muslim to be behind this.

Instead, it was a veteran who served this country and was undergoing treatment for mental health issues. No terrorism.

But soldiers aren't the police, we have MP's for that. They're trained for this kind of situation. All members of the military aren't prepared to handle an active shooter. This is why we have Security Forces.

It doesn't take much training to load a gun and shoot people if that's your intent, and it doesn't take long to take out several people if that's also your intent. Currently, the men and women of our armed forces have no other recourse but to wait for armed military police to respond to an active shooter. While they wait, they will die and watch their fellow soldiers die. One loaded weapon pointed and fired at this young man would have neutralized him.

In this case it was not a crazed Muslim who did the killing.

In this country, when it comes to mass shootings, it's very rarely a crazed Muslim. So it's odd that someone would jump to that conclusion when this kind of story breaks, isn't it?

There's quite a few passages that talk about love and peace, yet those get ignored for the more radical stuff like you posted.

Many countries practice Islam without incident.

Not to mention that there are very similar passages in the Bible, too. Death to non-believers, death to those that worship another god, yadda, yadda, yadda. Someday, you people will realize that the Bible and Quran are at their core really one and the same freaking book. All of you have been had! Over the centuries, billions of people fought, killed, died and sacrificed for nothing.
