Hello there!

Does anyone know what is the best and most trustful way to send documents from Ukraine? Are there services like UPS, FedEX, etc, that are fast and had proven to be trust worthy? Thanks!

HI, you can use UPS or FedEx in Ukraine (but as far as i know they are in the big cities) and the cost is around 600 UAH and up, depending on weight. I was usually using simple Ukrainian Mail (Ukrposhta) the cost is low and all works fine, letters were delivered around 7 days to the USA and packages around 10 days.

K-1 timeline:

11-07-2013 - I-129F form sent ---> 11-15-2013 - NOA1 - e-mail received, transferred to California Service Center.

Thank you for the reply. Did you use Ukrposhta to send IV package to NVC by any chance? I'm kind of worried as to the paperwork to get lost

I was using Ukrposhta only for personal things and sent some docs to my fiance (that later he forwarded to USCIS), never had problems. As for iV package to NVC (no idea what is that, sorry) i guess you do some other petition for relatives or something?! As for Ukrposhta and lost docs (usually they do "zakaznyi lust" so it should not be lost).

If docs from Ukraine should be sent to NVC (and if your family is around a big city or is able to mail the docs from the big city like Kyiv, Lviv etc. i am sure they can do it with USP of FedEx, but again cost will be high).

Ukrposhta seems to be pretty good at getting stuff to the US. Whenever my fiancee and now my MIL sent me stuff, it always got here in about 10 days or so (only packages though, never sent letters). I can't say the same thing for sending stuff from the US to Ukraine though (it might not be Ukrposhta's fault, might be customs holding packages forever).
