hey,

i submitted my I485 paperwork exactly one month ago. however, the website still shows the acceptance stage and not the initial review. is this normal or should i be worried.

on another note: i filed for advance parole and EAD concurrently and already received my Combo Card.

thoughts?

It is going to say acceptance until it is approved.

The online system looks fancy, but it doesn't work. It is not really even related directly to your case. No one ever plods along like they make you think it will.

Don't worry about it.

Good luck.

Agree with Harpa. The system is unreliable, and input/updates by the NBC seem somewhat random. All of my cases were actually in "Case Not Found" status until the day they got approved.

thanks for your replies, guys.

little update: this morning, my case info was updated to 'interviewing/testing'. i guess we just skipped the initial review stage. :) should i be expecting a appointment letter at this point or is this still ways away. just seems very quick knowing i only filed at the end of feb.

It depends on your local field office how fast you will be scheduled for an interview. Some offices are fast, some a slower. If your local office is San Diego, their processing times are four months right now, which is very fast (my local office for example takes more than twice that long). Good luck!

No, it's normal. You only filed a month ago, so patience is the key.

Thanks much for your reply you are right I have to be patient

I just worry because I heard some people who filed end of February just like I did already got their EAD and as for mine there is no any news about it

I see you got your green card without any interview, that is awesome

I don't know if I have a chance to get it without any interview

my case is in Atlanta I guess cause I had my biometrics there

Slow down, you only had boimetrics and week ago, allow 2 -3 months for you combo card. I filed early Nov and my AOS is still in acceptance although I have been told I likely will not have an interview. Combo card took about 70 days and the status pretty much stayed the same until few days earlier before it was approved.
