Just adding some info down here. The CIA, under JFK administration, planned and set up all the military dictatorships in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile on the middle of the 20th century...

So you are also against democrats?

He's from Brazil. Do you really think he's a loyal Democrat? Most people (with the exception of you) do not form party loyalties when they are not from the U.S. nor, in his case, have they ever been there.

I am supportive to whoever does what is best for the country and people of the country I reside in, which is now America. This is what I learned in school overseas.

Democrat / republican / Alaskan whatever. It is quite evident in these forums alone of the failed immigration policy of the US. First rule of allowing anybody to migrate into a nation should be that they will love it and respect it as their own. Not someone who condemns it to death because apparently in 1937 the did bla bla bla. People always put the US's history in the spotlight for their past even though most other countries have much much worse histories..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

The irony of that video is that they use the first amendment to say ####### like that yet hypocritically refuse to accept other people's differing beliefs and views..

It cracks me up when Democrats like George Clonney use the US Amendments to bag the ###### out of America yet chose to live in countries where they don't have half as many of these laws to use at their convenience. Ignorance and naiveness is a two way street.

I guess you watched the wrong video...

I watched the right video. I just saw through the BS. Until this country learns to work together and learns from other much more developed nations, it will further spiral downwards. Democrats / Republicans who gives a ######. Everyone should be looking out for their fellow citizens and vote out any incompetent bullshit talking self involved politicians.

Get over protesting for stupid stuff like civil rights for gay dogs etc and start protesting for useful issues such as equal opportunities for ALL kids. Better schools etc. Laws to protect honest law-abiding people, rather than criminals' rights. Initiatives to get people out of the projects and provide them with a future. etc

If only we could team up the great and smart politicians on both sides of the fence.

I think questioning your government and demanding accountability = patriotism/Americanism, and the Founding Fathers would agree. It's very dangerous when patriotism is defined as getting in line with a president, an idea, or a party.

it is during wartime. live with it.

so, then, that means that as long as the president can manipulate the ppl and congress to declare war, then he is above any questioning? if thats the case, then we will always be at war

...

1. this is not a declared war in iraq

2. there is no president that this applies to: "...as long as the president can manipulate the ppl and congress to declare war..."

so... after all the circles, my question still stands and is valid...

there shouldnt be any problem answering the question, since the parameters that i had specified have in your eyes have never occured (and therefore could not be construed as being "bushbashing")...

so, again, no matter who is president, if they can manage to manipulate things so that the country goes to war, should they be expemt from any questioning?

Reading some of these posts I can imagine our enemies sitting around laughing their azzes off planning their next attack. They're probably thinking, "what a bunch of clueless fcuking idiots, we can beat them easily".

Here:

Read it and see how much it looks like your gov't.

Now don't try to push that BS to us, because we can spend time on Charles because of semantics, but not on someone who actually believes on what they say...

And you think our enemies care about any us this political #######? No, they just want to win. Do you?

And you think this war abroad is what's keeping them away from America? No, it is not.

"War is peace"

The war abroad is only an excuse to keep the citizens of the country quiet while they do whatever they want...

Like I said, read the book...

I think your confusing America for South American nations, in terms of that sort of mind games.

If the US withdraws now, they will be the laughing stock of the world. The military has to get become more efficient over there. Outsmart the enemy. This is hard to do while still allowing the Iraqi government to govern..

i knew where your line of thinking was leading ;)

in answer to the original question, as phrased, my answer is no.

Ummmm, technically, no. The founding fathers (a.k.a. "Patriots") were defined as patriots exactly as Peezy has - to question your government and demanding accountability, as they did with the Britsh. Same with the French Revolution - the Patriots were the ones demanding accountability from their government. However, I do agree that the true current day "patriots" should have been more vocal BEFORE the government got us into this war, but better late than never. There's never a wrong time for standing up for what one believes in.

To answer your question: yes, they do. The leaders of the terrorist organizations are well educated (most with western education) and they are aware of how politics works in your country.

And, um, that is not paranoia, that is what is happening.

I think your confusing America for South American nations, in terms of that sort of mind games.

That disaster in Iraq is already doing that. Getting out of there won't change the situation.

And where is KD to complete the set of tools on this thread?

i'm sure such would have been a great idea on 8 dec 1941

Thank goodness you aren't in charge of who is a good American. Your ideas of such are completely against anything this country was founded on. It seems this is one time you need to go back to 1770s such and such and read up.

I guess if we were a country of robots, we'd all think alike, but since we aren't (most of the time), we all don't have the same priorities.

Where is the gay dog rights thing going on?

Reading some of these posts I can imagine our enemies sitting around laughing their azzes off planning their next attack. They're probably thinking, "what a bunch of clueless fcuking idiots, we can beat them easily".

You do know the US administration is the laughing stock of the world already, right? This can't possibly be news to you at this point.

Apparently you really don't know. Perhaps you think it's George W. Bush. ;)
