Our case is at the NVC and has been assigned a case # . Now can we go ahead and complete the online DS160 and pay the application fee prior to the case reaching the embassy and us receiving our packet 3?

9/23 Rec'd by NVC

10/1 Case # and IIN from NVC by phone

10/1 DS-261 complete

10/2 AOS bill paid (status in progress)

10/6 AOS shows paid

10/7 AOS & IV packet mailed

10/8 NVC welcome letter

10/9 Packets received at NVC (tracking)

10/9 Reviewed DS-261 on phone

10/13 Rec'vd IV bill email

10/13 Paid IV bill (status in progress)

10/14 Rec'd email scan date 10/9

10/19 IV Fee shows paid

10/19 DS-260 completed

11/12 Case Complete

11/18 Rec'd CC email

12/2 Interview scheduled January 4

if case number is assigned have her pay the visa fee in BPI and schedule her interview, fill out ds 160 and voila go for medical soon goodluck

We recently completed this process at the BKK embassy. Once we had the NVC case number, we did the medical, ( make sure you get that police check going now too ), paid the visa fee, and completed the DS 160. If you have everything for package 3 you can send it in once you see it is at the IV unit. Then you will have an interview appointment set for you shortly after they receive the package 3 from you. You will probably want to get a single certificate as well from her local amphur, they will probably want to see that at the interview. Good luck.

N-400, Naturalization Journey:

Filing date: April 11, 2018

Filing method: Online

NOA1 date: April 12, 2018

Biometrics date: April 25, 2018

Interview scheduled/rescheduled: Jan 11, 2019/Feb 13, 2019

Placed in line for Oath: Feb 15, 2019

Oath scheduled for: Mar 21, 2019

 

Journey of Removal of Conditions:

I-751 Petition for removal of conditions sent: Apr 12, 2017

USPS delivered package: Apr 13, 2017 

NOA1 received: Apr 21, 2017

Biometrics appointment received: May 6, 2017 for May 15, 2017

Biometrics early walk-in: May 11, 2017

New card is being produced: Feb 13, 2019 (right after N-400 interview)

New Card was Mailed and Received: Feb 15, 2019/Feb 21, 2019

Never thought would do this but Sent EAD for renewal July 06, 2015

EAD/AP renewal received by USCIS and NOA 1 mailed July 07,2015

I-485: Case updated, Welcome Notice was mailed  (07/09/15) Took 6 months and 27 days from the date of NPIW and after 10 months and 2 days of NOA 1

Welcome Notice hard copy received in mail, GC should arrive in 3 weeks (07/13/15)<p>

I went green and received my Green Card on (07/29/15)
