hi Enzo0601 just wana ask about the updated i864... does it mean a new one? bec my husband gave me only a photocopy of i864 submitted in the nvc.

If you gave them the 2013 tax info on the I-864 submitted to NVC then just take a copy of that to the interview. Otherwise, you should update the I-864 with the 2013 tax info, and take that updated copy to the interview along with either a Tax Transcript (2013) or copy of the actual tax return +W2+1099 if any.

If you are changing anything on the I-864 (like entering 2013 info that was not there before) then it is like a new I-864. So you should have the original signature. On the other hand, if nothing has changed then a scanned copy is fine.

my husband already want to book a flight but its like we're worrying (even though we don't have to) bout a denial or a delay. can I ask you when did your husband receive his visa? and how did his interview went?

It is not a good idea at all to buy the tickets before receiving the Visa in hand. You can never tell...

My wife got a call from the Mumbai consulate confirming her appointment and they also gave her brief instructions. She also got her medicals cleared and report in hand.

Now waiting for the interview. Fingers crossed. All the best to everyone here.

My wife is in Hyderabad. Her interview will be in Mumbai (don't have a date yet, probably June). Is it true that her fingerprinting+pics will be in VAC-Mumbai or can she get it done in VAC-Hyderabad?

I am hoping we should hear something by the end of this month. Honestly, I don't know...do we have any data from previous members to go by? When I called on Monday NVC rep said they were done with May. Then when I called on Tuesday the rep said they were still scheduling for May. Also, I received CC email on Monday, is it odd b/c everyone said that they received it after a week.

Also, we need the interview letter to schedule VAC and Medical.

My wife is in Hyderabad. Her interview will be in Mumbai (don't have a date yet, probably June). Is it true that her fingerprinting+pics will be in VAC-Mumbai or can she get it done in VAC-Hyderabad?

I bet she can get it done in Hyderabad. My parents will interview at Mumbai, however, since the facility is available, they will do their medical in Surat, Gujarat. You can directly call/email the embassy and clarify.

June scheduling will start around 28 April till first week of May. Biometric needs to be scheduled at Mumbai VAC because only mumbai and new delhi works for IV applicant. Other embassy handles non immigrant visas. I hope its helpful.

Yes! M from around Surat n daily commute to surat as m doibg job in Surat only. My husband also keep on telling me same about food....because m fond of spicy foods.

May scheduling was done like no other month they have done. Usually they start scheduling the last few days of the month going into first week of next month until the are done. This time they didn't start until mid first week and then this 2nd round was the newest thing.

All I can say is expect 1st week of May they will start for June.

For Medical in Montreal: After I go for medical. Do I have to pick up a packet from medical office 3-4 days later to bring with me to the interview or do they send it to the consulate? If so, I know my employer will not give me a week off work so that I can just stay in Montreal(can't afford it either). Was actually thinking of getting medical done in Toronto coming home, waiting a couple days, drive back to Toronto pick up my medical packet stay the night in Montreal and go to interview next day. Toronto's a 5 hour drive and montreal 8 hours from home.

Cost of Medical Exam? Varies by Doctor.

It is advised to schedule exam at least a week before interview if going to Medisys in Montreal. Medisys requires 3 days after the exam to get the results back (medical day + 3 more days, weekends not included)

Medisys charges $50 plus taxes anywhere in Canada for shipping the medical by Purolator.

Medical Exam costs for Surrey Office are:

Adults - $275.00, Pregnant Adult - $225.00, Child - $150.00

When i first scheduled, i could only schedule for Mumbai coz it would automatically change to mumbai when i select visa type as IR1

Then someone told me that once you are on the page where you select the date from the calender, there is a dropdown that would let you change the VAC location. So i canceled and rescheduled her for Hydro again.

Incorrect, i scheduled biometircs for my wife for Hyderabad today.

CEAC status shows as IN TRANSIT Husband booked his medical for two weeks from today, so London will be ready to add his results to the case when they arrive from Knightsbridge.
