I also wonder what the date (24 jun 2013) means. I know for sure that its not the I-130 NOA1 because my noa1 is aug 2013. So I think all the P4 email that NVC send have that date. Its funny coz when I receive'd my P4 just 3 wks ago, I was a bit dissapointed because I thought its the date of my husband's schedule for the interview. I didn't even pay attention to the year 2013. I just noticed the 24 june, so I felt sad thinking that my husband and I have no chance to be together on our 1st wedding anniversary on June 1 hahaha. But I was so happy when I read the letter and found out the interview is April 3 instead.

came across your message when I was wondering/searching the meaning of that (24june2013) in our P4 email. felt relieved too that its like they attached that date in all the P4 emails for every one. anyways I saw that we had the same wedding anniversary date (june 1) :) already got my interview May 14, but we don't know when or how many days they'll issue the visa after the interview. seems like we cant expect to be together on june 1 :( my husband already want to book a flight but its like we're worrying (even though we don't have to) bout a denial or a delay. can I ask you when did your husband receive his visa? and how did his interview went?

May is booked. I've been waiting since case completed March 26. Ours will b in June.

My wife's F2a case is completed in NVC on 4 Apr 2014. But we haven't got interview date yet. When I called NVC customer care , they said they are still waiting for date from embassy. Our case is assigned to Mumbai India and I see in Mumbai consulate website interview dates for till May end is booked. Does it mean that we will not get till June ? Will it be a problem when visa bulletein date changes for June ?

Hi M&M01! Wow Its nice to know someone with the same anniversary date. Good luck with your interview. I think its normal to feel nervous about interview. I know exactly what you are feeling right now.But don't worry too much, its still possible for you to be together on June 1. They issue the visa the next day,and so people usually received their visa in like 3-4 days. But my husband received his visa 7 days after interview because his interview happened to be on a Thursday. So it took longer for him, and then April 9 was also a holiday. Just hope and pray that you passed the interview and dont get a delay on your case. Be sure to bring all the documents that was asked from you. Also, just be prepared and bring an updated I-864(affidavit of support form) with 2013 tax transcript or tax return form + w2. Bring also a CEMAR certificate just in case they ask.

In regards to my husband's interview, they only asked for my updated I-864. Also there is no fee to pay during interview. Its after your received your visa then you'll find instruction about a fee for your green card.

If the PD retrogresses to a date below your PD, then yes it will be a problem.

oh thanks a lot for all these info, really appreciate this :) so it seems like its maximum of 7 days to get the visa on hand. keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be together on our 1st anniv. :) every one of us just wanna be with our loved ones already. anyways i'll make sure I wont forget this documents. oh and by the way what if my husband haven't filed his 2013 tax transcript coz the HR (tax expert) on their department advised him to just wait for me until im already there and there's no need to hurry up even its past the tax filing deadline since IRS owes my husband bigtime like he'll get a huge amount of return. but he's having his latest W2s and paystubs that I can bring to the interview. and also on our P4 we don't have any special special document that they requested to bring in the interview but i'll still have all of these documents that you mentioned except for a 2013 tax transcript. do you think that would be a problem??? thank you again :) God bless you and your family

hi dwheels76

just wanna ask if there's another fee to pay during/after the interview. :-?

Nope your last fee will be $165 you pay online at ELIS after interview up to a year to pay. You will get all information on that when you pick up Visa.

Unless your embassy has delivery charges of your passport/Visa no more fees.

Unless your husband falls into a special exemption categories, he has to file either an extension, or a tax return by April 15. I suggest he should look into filing an extension (extends the deadline to Oct 15) asap. It's a very short form and it would only take him about a minute to fill it up. He can put 0 in the amount owed field. You can use the extension form as "proof" that he filed taxes for 2013.

Not related to immigration, there's actually a significant $$ penalty for not filing by April 15. Hope that helps.

Don't have case complete yet, but I was just wondering if maybe someone had some insight on this

For Medical in Montreal: After I go for medical. Do I have to pick up a packet from medical office 3-4 days later to bring with me to the interview or do they send it to the consulate? If so, I know my employer will not give me a week off work so that I can just stay in Montreal(can't afford it either). Was actually thinking of getting medical done in Toronto coming home, waiting a couple days, drive back to Toronto pick up my medical packet stay the night in Montreal and go to interview next day. Toronto's a 5 hour drive and montreal 8 hours from home.
