Case complete: April 11, 2014

Interview date scheduled: April 16, 2014

Interview date: May 19, 2014

- April 26, 2013: received NOA1
- December 17, 2013: received NOA2 (online status)
NVC
- December 18, 2013: case shipped to NVC
- January 16, 2013: NVC notified receipt of petition (by email)
- February 11, 2014: submitted DS-261
- February 13, 2014: AOS fee bill is invoiced
- February 14, 2014: paid AOS fee ($88) and got receipt; status says "IN PROCESS"
- February 19, 2014: AOS fee marked "PAID"
- February 28, 2014: IV fee bill is invoiced
- March 3, 2014: mailed AOS to NVC
- March 3, 2014: IV fee bill is available for payment
- March 3, 2014: paid IV fee ($230) and got receipt; status says "IN PROCESS"

hi Dwheels76 just got an email this morning. OMG it's a P4 for my 7/yo son. interview date will be on may 13 2014 at manila em... but email for my P4 is not yet there haha. i think it will arrive also...:) thank you thank you thank you

Hi Hunnymoon,

Well against all odds we did get a reply - it appears it is possible to ask for a reschedule using that form, although there is a caveat, here is their reply:

"Thank you for your inquiry.

In order to consider a request to reschedule an immigrant visa interview appointment, the Immigrant Visa Unit must have received and processed the applicants medical report from the Embassys panel physician in London, which can take up to five working days from the date of the medical examination. Please see our website at http://london.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas/medical-examination.html for information about scheduling a medical examination.

Based on the information you have furnished, we recommend that you reply to this message once you have undergone your medical examination. On receipt of this information, we will advise you further."

So I will call the Knightsbride Doctors on Monday to see if I can get an earlier appointment. One thing to note is that the reply went to my Junk folder and had been there 2 days !!! ARRRGGGHHH! I could have called the doctors yesterday!!!

Just wanted to thank you for leading me to that online form! My husband sent in a request on Friday and got a new interview letter by mail today moving his interview up from May 28th to May 8th :) He had had his medical done back in February when we found out our case number... so that helped us out. Good luck to you!!! Just know, if they change your date, expect something by snail mail not in your inbox; and their turnaround time is superfast!!!

I have you displayed like this. Is this correct? Wat to make sure I get the sons Visa in there also. Congratulations. Weird yours hasn't been told yet. Did you ask them whats up with that?

Anyone from Nigeria gotten an interview date?,what was your case complete date?

Sorry no 9ja folk reporting here. But Nigeria is fast if they have interviews they had case complete in late March. So if you haven;t got anything time has passed. But June scheduling is coming up in a few weeks. This second round for some of the embassies who knows maybe Nigeria will have it also.

Thank you all! I'm on my phone so it's a pain to quote a bunch of posts, but you're all awesome :lol: I was the first one out the door at the end of that meeting and now I'm practically skipping home. Happiest person on the subway today by far!! AND I'm going home to a Skype date night. What perfection!

All my best to everyone still waiting for a date. The past two weeks were grueling for us, and I wish you all a speedy end to this crappy limbo. Having this feeling of joy at the end of your wait will be worth it!

My wife's F2a case is completed in NVC on 4 Apr 2014. But we haven't got interview date yet. When I called NVC customer care , they said they are still waiting for date from embassy. Our case is assigned to Mumbai India and I see in Mumbai consulate website interview dates for till May end is booked. Does it mean that we will not get till June ? Will it be a problem when visa bulletein date changes for June ?
