In my P4 I find Code O The NVC sent this form or document to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for PASSPORT POLICE CERTIFICATE

Code F The NVC did not request this form or document for INDIA POLICE CERTIFICATE

Is your police certificate from a different country?

For India you need only Passport Police Certificate one original to be submitted to NVC and another original to be taken to Mumbai consulate for interview. My wife said she received 3 originals from Passport Seva Kendra.

I didn't send any passport police cert to nvc. I case was completed and already have an interview date. I think if you are interviewing in Mumbai you don't submit a pcc to nvc.

All right, I called NVC today and found out case complete was yesterday... woohoo! I also asked if London is still scheduling for May and she said yes. Looks like another UK member had case complete 4 days ago and got an interview for the 30th. I'm officially on the edge of my seat! Dwheels, with all the months of interviews you've borne witness to, any input on whether we should have a shred of hope for May? I'm solidly planning on June but we're just so dang close. It's driving me nuts thinking there's a possibility!

Yes if there is room yes. UK seems to have room always but waits till the last dang minute.

Congratulations welcome. List all updated so excited to see it growing. April might be bigger than March. They are on the right path at NVC case completing.

Hello

I am planning to re-schedule my interview date...will they cancel my current date and then try to find an early interview date or they will first try to find the early interview date and once we have the early interview date then they cancel the current date......any idea anyone....

What was the code against Passport Police Certificate in your interview letter?

I have two on my IL.

India Police Certificate - F (NVC didn't request)

Police clearance Certificate - A (bring to interview)

Just got off the phone with NVC , interview scheduled on May 15,. :)

I did asked also if I can re-schedule my interview once my papers already at P.I embassy and the nice rep. Said "Yes, ma'am, anytime" woahhh

Just a general question regarding filing status...

What is the general consensus on filing status for tax year 2013 while your spouse is outside of USA.

I just want to make sure during the time of interview my wife gets no questions and/or the immigration find any issues when/she sees my 2013 tax return.

I just filed an extension for federal and state, that way I won't have to deal with it till she is here. I'll be printing the confirmation receipt and taking it with me for her interview.

I efiled with Married Filing Separately (MFS) status. I am going to send the revised I-864 with the IRS transcript to my wife for the interview.
