wow You got interview date few days after case complete.

Yeah, it was lucky i didn't miss the scheduling being so close to it. Another couple of days and i'd probably be waiting till June (you know they say that they schedule in the very end of the month/early beginning of it).

Also, for those keeping score at home, we got the official interview letter e-mail around 12:30 am last night (about 14 hours after I had received the information by phone). So it seems like e-mails are going out sometime within 24 hours after the actual scheduling happens.

Which is pretty much what dwheels has been saying all along

Keeping my fingers crossed and thumbs pressed for all those still waiting to hear!

Well, i just logged in to ustraveldocs and it offers a rescheduling option. I called my embassy and asked them and they said if i use it, the newly scheduled interview will be cancelled because NVC has already scheduled for me. I just sent them an e-mail asking the same question to see if they confirm it. I mean, why offer the option if we can't use it?..

Once the visa is on a "ready" status, i will definitely try to call nvc or usem and ask if i can reschedule it... Well the worst answer that they can answer me is no... Some of them rescheduled their interview and they didn't get ny problem about it....

hmm.. is it depends on date which case was completed? the agent told me i possibly get May interview.. but she is not sure when the interview will be schedule for Philippines (u.s embassy manila).

Husband's medical is scheduled for this coming Monday and then the interview on the 15th, and now I'm as excited and nervous as a cat in a thunderstorm. (I'm the US citizen and petitioner)

I'm wondering if he needs to take paper copies of the stuff we initially sent to the USCIS a million years ago (actually one year and 17 days ago), like the g-325a forms for us both and a copy of my birth certificate and driver's license, all that kind of pre-NVC stuff?

We have a list of things in the interview letter that are all covered, all about him (the immigrant). But should I go way back with copies of other things from USCIS for him to bring as well?

as far as i understood what i'd been reading: the embassy sends information about available time slots for month after next close to end of current month and NVC schedules (in majority of cases, at least). This concept appears to be confirmed by the spreadsheet Dwheels is maintaining (look at the amount of scheduled interviews in the last couple of days).

Im not sure about that... Usem-manila usually provides i/l a month prior to the exact date of interview....

HI all,

while I was reading the interview letter I came across this statement regarding the police report. The police authority just handed over the police certificate to my wife..... so are they suppose to send it directly to the Embassy? pls see statement below.

under "required Visa interview documents and documents status code definiations

"You must request this police certificate from the issuing authority. After you submit your

request, the issuing authority will send the certificate directly to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate

for your interview."

please can someone help explain to me if montreal embassy is fast or slow in scheduling interview.jot got case complete by phone today

I am not sure that you will get a may interview given that your case complete is in April, but you should get an appointment in June. If slots are still available for May or someone cancels, they could schedule your interview in may. Thankfully Montreal does not have a long wait My case complete was 3/21 and interview is 5/8

My wife got her case complete and P4 letter last night indicating her interview date at the Montreal consulate. May 21st is the big day!

YAY!!! I got the IL at 1:50 am...so it was super nice to wake up to. Called and got the date over the phone a couple days ago and the husband had already booked his flight and hotel

Its because the scheduling was either going on or their was an opening.

People you have to realize that just because you got Case Complete doesn't mean automatic interview scheduling for you. There is a window of scheduling. However lately since the Typhoon in Philippines the scheduling has been fluid throughout the month but of course filling up.

Those who took advantage of the expedite got approved at USCIS and immediately shipped to embassy for many. So you have to wait behind them. Imagine all the people for visitor visa, K1's and other visas lining up daily. So you just have to be patient. Don;t look at others embassy and think yours run the same.

As I always say look at the list Look at Egypt.

Has anyone with an interview scheduled this round actually received email notification the same day? I've been following the thread and it seems like this time around everyone is finding out by calling. Very curious if notifications are still being generated electronically.

Looks like this month they are a day behind and next day people are getting email P4 letter.

I remember it use to be a week. Than a year ago they went to same minute almost. It varies
