When we receive the i/l, are we allowed to reschedule our interview date to be earlier?coz i'm seeing some post that for category f2a they can reschedule their interview...

i'm sorry but i don't know. I'm on CR1/IR1 category. those people who can reschedule their interview.. i think those are people who filed DCF.

um after you received your interview date. try to call NVC and ask if you can reschedule your interview.

Well, i just logged in to ustraveldocs and it offers a rescheduling option. I called my embassy and asked them and they said if i use it, the newly scheduled interview will be cancelled because NVC has already scheduled for me. I just sent them an e-mail asking the same question to see if they confirm it. I mean, why offer the option if we can't use it?..

I did. They sent me an email earlier today. I called them on Wednesday and then they told me to wait and there was no appointment scheduled yet.

better is calling. yes, they will send email.. but its so (very) late. like ex. our case got completed March 21st. but i got the notification via email march 28th. (if you given them your email add. they will send you notification.. but this is not reliable )

Yes, I definitely will be calling for case complete. But the interview email is supposed to be sent out more or less immediately after the interview is scheduled so there's less of a need to call. Just wondering if that's been the experience for everyone who has called to get their interview dates this month, if the interview email arrived within a few hours of getting the news over the phone.

Heh i didn't even have a separate case complete e-mail now i think of it. It was completed on 28th and today (roughly around midnight US time) i got the e-mail with interview date in it.

some people they received the email same day. others the next day. but i love calling NVC than waiting for their email :)

um after you received your interview date. try to call NVC and ask if you can reschedule your interview.

Once the visa is on a "ready" status, i will definitely try to call nvc or usem and ask if i can reschedule it... Well the worst answer that they can answer me is no... Some of them rescheduled their interview and they didn't get ny problem about it....
