hello. i just want to know how long is the visa processing to petition my parents here in the US? I have met all the requirements for petition. I just want to know, on average, how long it wil take from the time i filed their papers to the time that they can enter the US? thanks~
Are they coming to visit? They may have to file for a visitors visa.

2 things:

Since you did not indicate in your profile beneficiaries country it is impossible to even give you a good guesstimate.

Only a US Citizen can petition for an immigration visa for a parent. A green card holder can not, so you do not meet that one big requirement.

You are looking at at least 3 years before you can file to become a naturalized citizen, and once you become a citizen then you can file for a visa for your parents. Processing time is similar to IR-1,CR-1 visa for a spouce, can vary depending on country.

Immediate Relatives of U.S. Citizens (IR): The spouse, widow(er) and unmarried children under 21 of a U.S. citizen, and the parent of a U.S. citizen who is 21 or older.

Hi! Just right in time I catch your vj post, I just finished editing my mom’s timeline and I think you will like to look at it. I am from the Philippines, my mom is till here waiting for her packet for medical & interview sched. Me & my sister is hoping that she could have march 2007 interview at the US Embassy.

worst w/CR or IR, F visa is that if you get an RFE you always have to wait for the NVC to send you back a barcoded sheet before you can send them the missing or requested documents.
