Perhaps not. Did you expedite? I encourage you to check both yours and his daily.

I'm anxious too because we're sending off Sol's passport application this morning. I hate that we have to send the original naturalization certificate.

Yep we expedited, paid extra for overnight shipping to and from the passport agency, etc. If I were you under NO circumstances would I send the naturalization certificate through the mail. I had rather drive it somewhere 500 miles if I had to submit it to someone in person, but I would never mail it. This is a disaster!

Hi everyone, I wanted to update and put some closure to this. You guys were right, the package was delivered to the correct place today and signed for. It showed back up in the USPS tracking system this morning; I have no clue why it was a day late....I'm not complaining, I'm just happy it made there safely. That really had me worried, and you all here really really really helped me...and I thank you for that sincerely :-)

What city/state was it sent to? I believe I heard there was a blizzard with a foot of snow somewhere this week, that may have led to the delay if that's where it was or near there.

Also could have just been the case of the online system being behind, which wouldn't surprise me.

I know that it's now resolved but I just wanted to ask if it is possible to go to an actual location in your state to get a passport renewal?

I would never risk sending original important documents like that in the mail. Especially considering how terrible USPS is.

Most require that you will be traveling within two weeks. For some of us, the nearest one that doesn't is over 7 hours drive one way....

I just wanted to update, our completed passport arrived here at our house this morning 4-10-14. This was a very quick and efficient process. I am very impressed!
