thanks.

Yeah.. I figured it out after all... You're right, I think it was the wrong postage amount. But it wasn't our fault! They weighed and charged us that amount and after all the delivery they made, they send it back just because it needs 3.73 additional?! That's nuts! It costs them more returning back to me, I think. It's their error not ours! tsk.. tsk.. terrible service. Now, we just wasted few days. :clock:

In my case, I bought flat rate postage online, and I was lazy to put in a flat rate envelope. My advise if you went to the post office and they are the one who did the mistake , go and ask for refund. Also, Send it to the POBox address, not the street one. if you wanna send it using UPS, FedEx then send it to their st address

Thats USPS for you. No wonder they are running at a deficit. Take a package all the way to VT and fly it back to the sender for less than $4? Really? Good luck with the rest of your journey.

ours just says refused when we track it at USPS

I had an issue where I did the priority mailing to Vermont and USPS tracking said it was being delivered a day after when it was supposed to. I called and it had already been delivered. The Vermont post office is very nice to talk to. They will bring up their own special tracking system which has more details. I still don't get why the customer tracking would be so out of date and useless that it would say something was being delivered tomorrow even though it had already been taken from the post office. You never know, maybe they walked away with it and the customer tracking was wrong again. Can you imagine the amount of packages they get for immigration? When I called the guy assumed I was looking for immigration mailing right off the bat. I am sure they have their own room for that sort of stuff.

We'll be mailing our I-751 package via FedEx overnight. Could someone clarify the street address for the Vermont center?
