Here is latest update about my case.

NVC sent back approved case to USCIS and

USCIS got my case today and changed my case status to initial review again.

No idea how long it will take them to make a decision again about my case.

Ugh. Seriously, Write to the director, assistant director, Ombudsman, (and call the ombudsman), director of the Service Centers and that Service Center in particular and Senators and Congresspeople. And call USCIS and get a Tier 2 supervisor, or go to an infopass and find out ####### is going on. (Maybe call the service center?) This is utterly ridiculous.

you are talking about for the UK interviews... right? all embassies are different.. I guess it depends on how many come through for each...

Yeah, every embassy fills at a different rate. But scheduling for May started a good week ago, so if they're not done globally yet they should be soon.

What they hell is going on with my case ?

Can someone confirm it DOS=NVC?

And what's their contact number ?

Ok, so they re-approved it and sent it back to the NVC. Call the NVC in a day or two to see if they got it back yet.

I am so sorry. Maybe you can see if you can get it expedited through the NVC because of their error?

I don't know why he specified first round when a second isn't standard or even likely, but "we're done with the first round" was the response when I asked about May interview scheduling so I had to ask what that meant. I was already betting on June so it's not as though my hopes are dashed, I'm just glad I won't have eyes glued to my email hoping for a notice all week long. Seriously hope you and I are at the top of the list and first in for June though!

Second round might not occur for all embassies/consulates. But looking at the interview spreadsheets; assignments seem to happen in two batches; once right at the beginning of the month and the other 10 days or so after.

Last month the quite a few interviews were assigned from 1st-4th (first round?) and 11th-13th(second round?) excluding the outliers.

Yep, really hopping for an early June date, and would be ecstatic with a May date.

You think this might have been a clerical error where they just forgot to ship part of the package to NVC? But this sounds like good news Deep. I would write to nvc-expedite mailer for an expedite based on the error.

Having the shipped and re-affirmed message great news.. IMO.

From what I have seen DOS = NVC

I would suggest you call NVC asap call tonight call right now

Reaffirmed = reapproved??

Best case scenario: USCIS took one look at your case and said hey this is already approved send it to NVC already

it's just impossible to approve case within 8 hours ( they got my case this morning from NvC)

They might add missing documents into my case and send to the NvC again.

Just got off the phone with Jim at NVC and was told the first round of interview scheduling is done. When I asked what that means he told me sometimes there's a second round and sometimes not, but basically, they're done with May. Ah well. Settling in for the next few weeks while we wait for an assignment, hopefully it'll be early in June because we were so close to the cutoff.

Well #######. It's coming from Jim, which lends it much more credibility.

There goes my hope for getting my husband here before June then. If they hold onto my case for the full 30 days like Cranky Pants told me this afternoon, I'm looking at July or August even. #######, #######, #######, #######. #######.

Ok, almost 3 weeks and still haven't received ENROLL acceptance. What the heck is going on? I've called NVC everyday and they have no info.

If NVC and DOS both r same departments than

why they do have different numbers..

I felt like I am just lost in the world. No way left to get out of this.
