Hi Saylin,

Check the NOA2 for Infoneeded and miezceegee in the NVC spreadsheet. I thought I should mention it. Sometime I just play around with the data, looking at different timeframes, average days from one date to another, sorting by different headers etc so those two pulled a negative. Hope it helps to fix those date. Thanks

Adding to above questions , have couple of more if you all genius guys could please help:

1. When i enter my current employment and go to next page, it asks for previous employment for 10 years (STARTING FROM MOST RECENT ONE), so should i enter my current again and then earlier ones?

2. Regarding my earlier employments, a couple of companies have been acquired by new company so my company no longer exists, so which company name should i give here?

3. One of the company has changed its location so that means address and phone numbers has changed, so which address i should refer to (as old address where i worked no longer valid)?

4. Obviously i know full names of my supervisors but i don't know their surnames and firstnames, should i just put in their names here? OR i should click 'I Don't know'

5. Also, regarding where i lived since the age of sixteen, since i have worked in different companies, so none of the place was permanent (i kept switching places where rent was less ), so what addess should i put in? [and i have worked abroad also for few mothns, so what addess should i put in here? , should i give my employer's address?]

1. They probably want the ones before your current, but I don't think you'll get a checklist for putting down your current again.

2. I plan to put down the name of the company when I worked for them. The only way they can really track this is if they can access my Canadian tax information, so I want to make them match up.

3. Again, I plan to put down the address/contact info that was current when I worked for them.

4. Put down their names if you know them, or click "don't know" - shouldn't matter.

5. Did you have a permanent mailing address? (your parents' house or whatever?) if so, put that. Otherwise, I'm planning to put down the addresses from which I filed my taxes for the times that I was living in company housing or temporary accommodations.

This is just my best guess, but I've been concerned about the same things and plan to be as honest as I can, within reason. And I don't intend to track some franchise restaurant from 1988 that's been out of business for 15 years. (and for which I have no idea what my supervisor's name was! I mean, really!)

Called and spoke to Cranky Pants Agent Brady (a woman, btw) who very exasperatedly told me that they needed 30 days to review my civil documents, so I shouldn't call back until the second week in May. (hahaha, no.) She also told me that they can't see the DS260 or when it was filled out, but they also need 30 days to review that. And that I should just wait until they contact me to find out what's going on with my case. Ok, whatever, talk to you tomorrow.

I've had other ones tell me I can call 3 times a day if I want to. Brady always seems fairly ill-tempered.

Hey everyone - For Vietnam, it is recommended that you submit a timeline. At which point in this process should I submit additional info, such as timeline, pictures, etc.? To NVC, or should I bring it to the interview?

I was surprised I was checklisted for my police clearance. Yeah another checklist!!!! I have my spanish police clearance in the package with english translation and legalized by the Apostille of Hague. I don't know why they can't find it and it can't be lost because I put case# at the upper right hand of all the documents plus the copies of all the documents. When I asked the lady to double check she said she already requested to have it reviewed again but will take a week to 10 business days to pull out the whole folder. Sigh!!! I feel so depressed! Saylin, do I have to send another police clearance? Or any suggestion guys?

Here is latest update about my case.

NVC sent back approved case to USCIS and

USCIS got my case today and changed my case status to initial review again.

No idea how long it will take them to make a decision again about my case.

Really sorry to hear. Hope you have somebody from your Senator or Rep's office following up with USCIS to get a quick resolution to this.

Really sorry to hear what you are going through. I can't even imagine being in your situation. Did NVC atleast tell you why they sent the file back to USCIS?

I was all confused, apparently we are electronic processing and i misunderstood the lawyer when she said " I did send all the required documents to the NVC on 4/01 and it was delivered on 4/04. The Immigrant Visa is completed online – there is no need for mailing. "

SO,we jumped a few steps ahead today since i thought we were mailing IV and then after that waiting then doing Ds26. She was filling in the DS-260 today, said the form had changed, and was back and forth with hub in UK for ages getting all his details that she didn't know they needed. I think she maybe sent it off today, or will tomorrow, so yay!

I think i might call NVC tomorrow am, see what our status is with the mailed docs and stuff.

Am a little worried on how my hub was so honest.. he had told lawyer about a couple of arrests, nothing was charged, one went to court and got thrown out, his police record is clean- nothing on it at all.

So i guess the lawyer will put it in the form etc and i was worried it will slow us down.. what do you think?
