I'm yet to get a case number for the I-130, but I hope it is only matter of days now! hopefully next week!

Thanks !! I am really surprised. The only reason I wanted the K3 was because I dreaded another 3 months at NVC. but it seems to be moving pretty fast. My husband just asked me if I expedited everything.. he is getting excited. I wonder if it has to do with having an attorney

He was comparing the vaccination list for Costa Rica to his records and it looks like he might need 5 vaccinations. He is going to take the list to his family doctor this week to see if he can get them there. I am sure it will be much cheaper. I know for sure he will need the tetanus. He hasn't had anything since 2006. I think the US gives those every 5 years now instead of 10. At least that is what my doctor told me when he gave it to me back in October.

yayy we review the case onlinne and it says our file was shipped to nvc on april 2 Idk if thats true but before tgat it said it was approved and as soon as my hubby called nvc to ask for the file location it cjanged to that message . hopefully it fets there soon his bday is in july but i dont think ill be able to be there by then :/ hopefully soon

(We attempted to deliver your item at 11:07 am on April 5, 2014 in PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801 and a notice was left because the business was closed. You may arrange redelivery by visiting usps.com/redeliver or calling 800-ask-usps, or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice. If this item is unclaimed after 15days then it will be return to the sender.

Anyone who experience this? Did anyone from nvc will try to get the package on thePost Office? Or USPS will try to deliver it again on Monday? TIA

hi got the same message when i tried to see if usps delivered the package yesterday.. i guess we can only wait for monday and see if they will redeliver..

NVC finally received my case. It looks like the pony express from Nebraska finally arrived. My lawyer is putting in an expedite request because were filling out of the UAE but his work visa ends this month. Fingers crossed he doesn't have to sign another contract just to break it and pay $$$ like a month later.

My husband called NVC on April 4 at 11:30 p.m., call was answered at 11:58 p.m. The CSR said they still didn't receive our file and that maybe they would get it in two weeks.

I sent an email to the President of the United states months ago while our petition was still at USCIS. Today the white house emailed me back. I thought maybe people would be interested in his reply so here it is.

The two packages are processed by two separate departments in NVC. Sending them together has no special advantage (except saving mailing charges) and NVC clearly does not require it. The barcoded cover sheets are different. The addresses (ATTN: ) are different. If you decide to mail them together put them separately in two separate envelopes marked with their separate addresses. Then put both envelopes in a bigger USPS Priority or Express Mail envelopes.

Mail the packages ASAP after the respective money is withdrawn from your account and not wait for the website to show PAID.

I figured it wouldn't be a big deal since he can sign in and print the bar code pages. I just saved myself a week just waiting for him to pay. Now they should show paid next week

I haven't been able to get a hold of him since I was approved. Today a letter came to my house addressed to my husband from his office. Just the approval notices. If I didn't have VJ I would be sitting around waiting for him. And he knows my husband isn't here... why address the letter to him???

No worries. I could rant here about several things how our lawyer and his paralegal slowed us down but I'm over it. Want nothing but good vibes around this time. Here's to hoping your case will go to consulate soon and a case complete for us. Cheers!

When I go in to pay the AOS there is no check box or any information, yet I do have a check box and information under the IV but thats not available yet.

I did fill out the Choice of Agent form yesterday.

(When filling for I-130 I attached my I-864 documents together, an agency told me if I did that It would be faster and I wouldnt have to pay the 88 dollars.) I didnt think its true but did it anyways. COuld that be the case?

Hello. I would like to know how did you send your package to NVC, by express service mail or just regular mail? I and my husband are worried bec our attorney sent our package by regular mail last April 1. I called the NVC everyday until last Friday to check if they have already received the package and said "NO". So we are still worried bec of our original docs. I saw your timeline that you checked your AOS thru USCIS? Pls tell me how. Thanks in advance. Have a great day.

If they are working OT on Saturday and Sunday... they probably aren't running 100%. They will get the mail on Monday.. I was told the NVC gets mail deliveries all day long.
