NVC Filers - April 2014

Just received ENROLL acceptance email from NVc with a new set of case number for us.

And another email stating they have received our AOS documents.

So, it took 3 weeks for them to enroll our case for EP.

Did you just receive those email this morning?? That's great news. They received your AOS even though you sent it before ENROLL acceptance. I sent my ENROLL email on March 19 two days after you, so hopefully I will receive ENROLL acceptance early next week.

Case completed today (AOS and IV sent over night 3/18 and DS-260 completed 3/11)!

Hope April is full of completed cases. Go, NVC, go!

Congrats! It's great to finally see someone processing in Spain. I will check your timeline and wait for your interview date as my guide to approximate mine if I luckily get case complete within 1-2 weeks.

I disargree, every time I called to NVC, they always ask me who is calling.

I called around 10 times and it always was like - NVC, this is Gina, your case number, please. So probably it depends on operator. And any way friend can pritened to be a beneficiary or petitioner. So it was just mine experience - no troubels at all.

I would love to BUT I don't want to piss him off.. We have to file a waiver after the interview. I am express mailing all the docs to him today. He should get them Monday. NO EXCUSES !!! I will b on top of him. I have no tolerance for waiting !! 11 months was long enough. The way things are flying.. maybe we can have case complete by the end of April

Seems it was a waste of valuable time and money for you to hire an attorney. Even at the USCIS stage you've done your own research and waited on your attorney to catch up. Can't you just fire him at this point? They don't understand the urgency and sensitivity with these type of cases.

I have nothing against friend calling... I was just saying that they may ask who is calling that's all .

You can call NVC @ 1-603-334-0700 to find out if and when they received it. You'd use your USCIS case number when you call.

Congrats BOS_LHR, like to see that my prediction came very close as to when we'd get case completes. :-)

VJ, the only place where weekends are not welcomed and people (in spite of whatever the bank balance) are eager to pay bills. No normal person can understand these joys. So thankful for this crazy, impatience, but wonderful group.

Yes, we received the emails this morning.

You will hear something soon! We sent our AOS on the 19th and they have responded to it, so yours will be very close!

Soooooo grateful they are working on Saturdays!!

To VJ members from the Philippines, I just want to ask if your NBI clearance was being legalized (red ribbon) at the DFA or not before you send it to NVC? Thanks!

We've submitted DS-261 form on March 18th, AOS fee was available at the same time, but by my mistake i resubmitted DS 261 on march 24 still waiting for IV fee... first time when i called it was told to me wait 10 business days, but the second time 30 business days, and that someone get it sooner, someone later, so i guess it's normal, but the only thing that confusing me is that yellow triangle that is unlocked without receiving mail since march 25, usually when it's unlocked people were receiving IV fee mail and be able to pay in 3-4 days.

Now I am confused. Are you saying the yellow triangle is unlocked for the IV fee. Then go ahead and pay it. As soon as you pay the invoice, the bar code sheet becomes available. Once the money is taken from your bank account, attach the barcoded sheet at the top of your IV package and run to the post office or UPS or FedEx. Mail the IV package immediately.
