My wife and I received a case complete notice with an interview date this morning at 12:01 am central time!

Our interview date is May 21 at the consulate in Montreal.

Thank you for everyone's help thus far and continuing forward as we prepare for the interview.

Apparently NVC was just waiting for me to lose all hope, sit back and get comfortable before throwing us for a loop. Yesterday evening we received an email notification for a May 19 interview in Londo

Yep it's normal :) usually means they are inputting your case number or invoicing one of your bills to be paid.

Pretty cool since it was only received at the NVC 3 days ago. So should I let my lawyer pay the bills or should I? Isn't there a barcode page that gets generated once the bill is paid? He would need that to submit our docs.... RIGHT? or can he access that at a later time?

I would rather pay the bills so I know it is getting done as soon as it is available to pay rather than wait for the lawyer to "get around to it"

Not sure about the lawyer part, not using one! But as I can recall the bar-coded sheet will be sent with each package. I'm guessing you can pay for them and forward the bar-coded page to the lawyer. What did you put as your choice of agent for the NVC?

It's a good thing they gave it to you right away.. you waited TOO Long!

After the bill is paid, the barcoded cover sheet will be available on the portal any time you log in. Either you or your lawyer can access it at any time -- doesn't have to be printed at the same time the bill is paid.

Finally after one year to the date since I filed my NOA1. I was told today that or "CASE IS COMPLETE "

Thanks to all, had it not been for this site and Mrs. Saylin, I would still be lost in the visa maze. For all who still are trying to get through this process,

never give in or give up. I can only pray to see you in the case complete tread soon. Once again a special thank you to Mrs. Saylin, your a blessing to so many of us, I wish all the best for you and your family and your new job.

Just spoke to GINA.. What an amazing person. She was offering up some very good info....

FYI Costa Rica filers... you don't need to send in the Police Cert to the NVC... They collect it at the interview.. Its only good for 30 days !!

Gina just saved me a big Fedex fee for overnighting that to the US. Also told me I can send in the original docs with the AOS ..Passport page, Birth cert and Marriage Cert.

also.. not adjusted income... TOTAL INCOME.. keep saying it over and over... HAHAHAHA

Saylin i just called nvc they said that they just receivec our civil docs last monday how long eill the case be complete from they recived ,our aos is already approved.

awesome ! ! I trust me to pay the bills.. Not him !! only because I want it paid ASAP not "when he gets around to it"

I hope those bills are being generated !! I wanna pay them NOW ! ! ! ! ! ! sounds really stupid to want to pay the government before they ask for it ! ! ! ! ! This process makes us all KOO KOO for cocoa puffs !!!!

IV has been paid since April 1, and it still shows in process, is this normal? It's been a week since I paid it. My AOS only took 3 days from paying it to it showing paid. Why is the IV taking so long??

Doing EP is really not saving any time at NVC. Everything gets stumbled on the ENROLL email...apparently an enroll acceptance takes 20-30 business days...ok, peace out.

Yep, silly isn't it. If I'd known this before I sent in ENROLL email, I wouldn't have opted for EP I would have done snail mail. I want faster not cheaper.

Just got off phone with Rose from NVC, she says it takes 3-5 business days from the day you paid it online. Ok. I paid it online March 28 and today is April 4. You do the math, it should be showing paid today! Check again Monday or Tuesday. So fed up with this process.

04/04/14 : IV package emailed to NVC(Haven't received ENROLL acceptance yet. but I figured I'd try and see what happens, Did not receive auto reply)

04/15/14 : AOS Emailed(received auto-reply)

04/17/14 : Received ENROLL acceptance email from NVC

04/17/14 : IV package emailed(Received Auto-reply)

04/17/14 : NVC acknowledges receipt of AOS-notice by email

04/21/14 : AOS approved (No checklist woo hoo, by phoning NVC))

04/21/14 : False check list for IV docs- email from NVC

04/28/14 : NVC reviewed DS-260

04/29/14 : False checklist for IV docs- email from NVC(the second one they've sent me)

05/05/14 : NVC acknowledges receipt of IV- notice by email

05/06/14 : Case Complete

05/14/14 : Interview scheduled--JUNE 25

06/03/14 : Medical with Dr. Ian Zatzman

07/11/14 : POE Qweenston/Lewiston Bridge New York
