Do we have to make a appointment to get PCC from passport office or do they serve as walk in?

Maybe your application has been expedited!! I would call nvc again to ask again, but it sounds like it is pretty good news!:-)

I hope so but like USCIS, everyone said different thing, so I ganna call again to talk to different person at NVC.

regarding your tax thing, I think it would be ok with 2010-2012 for now but when you have interview at Paris, you have to bring 2013 return. they might ask you to bring.

you and our case are so close each other. :) maybe same interview date at paris? hehe

Hi O'Lisa, I'm wondering if it really is 22 days since they seem to be working weekends as well... 22 days was calculated Monday-Friday only right?

Yes, Monday - Friday because when I called and asked if it had been received they told me 20 to 30 working days and there was no mention of working overtime.

Nice to be back. Well believe it or not I could not call everyday. Probably was ready 1 April or a couple days before. I have two good friends visiting me from Germany, and been showing them the Island of Oahu. Also got the news yesterday that my wife is going to make a 3 1/2 week visit. She'll bring all her official docs that we will send off from here. We have to plan now for her to come for good in SEP/OCT timeframe due to the requirement for her to give notice at her job in Germany. But at any rate I got hold of the NVC with the 2nd call today, and a wait of only about 15 minutes. A record for me. lol

BTW, I have a cottage for rent 5 minutes from the Ocean, cheap, for anybody interested. :-)

Like the other person said

fill that form on passport seva office and once payment done

you will have the option to pick dates to bring all your paper work to their office. (if all paper work ok they will issue PCC right away

make sure to get 2 copies.

They gave my wife a ridicules date like 2 months away

we ended up getting a travel agent and he got us the PCC with in a week.

I just completed filling i864, I filled all items either or with N/A or none

But could not fill the redundant "date of birth" blocks. Had to leave those blank.

Hope that won't be an issue. And I won't get a check list for leaving them blank.

I left mine blank and it was ok

just depends on the person checking.

if u want u can always write it with a pen after form is printed

Wow I just spoke to Casey, she told me to wait 30 business days for case number ..crappp @#$

But the funny thing is she tried to explain me that 30 business days means : starts on March 11th and ends on April 11th ....

I am puzzled; don't they teach these kids what it means : business days?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

they took exactly 20 business days for my case number

and now the norm is 30

but reviewing of documents they say 30 but its more like 17

Research your senators and rep. Start with the ones up for re-election. Contact his/her local HI office (not the DC office). Explain your situation. The lead on immigration issues can make some calls on your behalf. The closer to the start of the school year, the more likely the case will be expidited.

Good luck.
