I am the beneficiary. In DS-260, can I put the USA address of my wife in "Is your Mailing Address the same as your Present Address?". If they really do send any mail, it will get delivered much faster. What do they use this address for?

During the entire IV process, do they send any correspondence to mailing address of the beneficiary?

Petitioner or beneficiary any of them can be choice of agent in my case i am the petitioner and i put my USA address so it will be more quicker

Hi, I just realized we've just done something very stupid. We are both in France at the moment so we sent the AOS package from here. As express mailing costs nearly $120 here, we opted for a regular mailing with tracking (average 7 days...). We just realized that they will probably receive the package after the 15th of April. As the joint-sponsor didn't finished to file his 2013 tax application, we only included 2010 to 2012. Does anyone know (or think) if they would send us a checklist because they received the package after the tax deadline?

It depends where you got married. Sometimes they give a different embassy based on your place of marriage. I was married in Gibraltar (UK territory) and they said I have to do my visa in Morocco but I live in Spain. But we put a note that since I will stay in Madrid if we can get Madrid Embassy in Spain instead of Casablanca, Morocco. And yes I got this initials on my case number - MDD (US Embassy, Madrid). I don't know if we have the same case or they just really processed your case wrong. But yeah go ahead and call them! I hope it will not take too long to fix it!

No,it is not my case, we got married in USA.

Yes, I called to NVC and told them about my situation, they ask me to send the letter requesting to change case # and attach copy of my passport for proof. I just don't know about this stupid proof, I have been living in Ukraine almost all my life and I am Ukrainian citizen, makes no sense at all.

So now I have to wait for new case #. They also recommended not to do DS-261 and AOS. So I just hope and pray that it will not take too long.

Wow I just spoke to Casey, she told me to wait 30 business days for case number ..crappp @#$

But the funny thing is she tried to explain me that 30 business days means : starts on March 11th and ends on April 11th ....

I am puzzled; don't they teach these kids what it means : business days?

I read in earlier post here, they are working Saturday and Sunday too. So 30 working business days is correct!

i got really confused!!!! please help.

I

am filling out i864 for my parents approved i130.

in part 2 , i filled out my mom information.
in part 3 question 1 , i checked YES.
so i need to check question2 because i my dady will come with my mom . his I130 is also approved. but it said do not included any relative listed on sperate visa petition.
what should i do?
and if i don't check question 2 part 3, i got one person less on my household people.
me, my husband, my mom and i don't know how to add my dad.
i know i have to fill out another i864 for my dad too. so in my dad i864, should i write my mom info again on part 3 question 2? so i don't know how to count household member on each i864.hummmmmmm

hey guys i called NVC this morning and the rep told me that just today the case was being input into the system, he took my email tho but no number assigned... should i call again ? has this happen to anyone?

NVC does not work on weekends.

You can get emails etc on weekends but that is because they're delayed, not because someone is working at that time.
