For the annual tax return is it the first and second page that are required or the whole pages?

If you're submitting tax returns it has to be the complete return with all schedules, worksheets, 1099s and W2s. If you want to minimize the paperwork you're submitting, look into getting transcripts online instead of using returns.

Whatever your Salary amount is.. times that by how many times you are paid per year. That is your CURRENT yearly income. W2 and past income is not a factor in this. They're asking for your CURRENT income, that you SHOULD make THIS (2014) year.

Time to go read the wiki link from post 1. :D

Question, is it that same as my total income from my tax return without any other assets ? I get pay hourly but do not work certain hours some time I work 50 h a week some time I work 30 hours a week ( work as PRN), also I work in two different job!!! How do I answer that, thanks

Folks, just a friendly reminder: please READ stuff (NVC Process wiki, EP wiki [if doing EP], official form instructions, USCIS/NVC websites).

Although I'm not answering questions anymore, I'm still reading all the posts in my inbox and I've seen quite a few questions that can be answered if you simply read what's available.

And if for whatever reason, you can't find the answer, try searching both on this website and on Google. It's amazing what you could find if you search ;)

And if you're wondering about time frames, I've got a spreadsheet available for a reason ;) And if you're trying to look at a time tick not on it (such as bills being invoiced), look at the fellow members right here in this thread! Study their signatures/timelines and make notes. VJ also has this awesome page: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=&op3=5&op5=&op6=All Use it! I sure did during my process :)

My silly husband hasn't had a vaccine in 25 years. He's going to be hurting over the next month!

Still a tad worried about our address conundrum. Going to call NVC today to see what they say.

No. But if you think you'll work similarly this year and are paid the. Same you can use that amount.

There is room for more than one employer I think on the form.

Dear friends, who is waiting for IV fee? need an advice..

March 19th DS 261 submitted, 19 March AOS fee available to pay, 2 April status is paid.

But IV fee is still locked....no yellow triangle....Is it normal ?

Yes, this is totally normal. Mine took a couple of weeks after AOS paid before the IV was unlocked and then a couple more days before I could actually pay. The timing is a little bit different for everyone.

Hi everyone,

I am pretty new to this whole thing and I am horrible with adding stuff, links and spreadsheets so if I ask dumb questions please bear with me. :content: I received my NOA2 3/26/14 and my case was transferred to the NVC. I called the NVC today to ask if they had received my case. I was told they cannot give me any information and that I have to wait 8 weeks before they can even enter my case. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do? Do I need to call them back again and ask for a different person or do I need to contact the NSC and get information from them? :help: Thank you in advance!

3/20/13 Sent I-130

3/22/13 NOA1

11/06/13 Case transferred to Nebrasca Service Center (NSC)

3/26/14 I-130 Approved (NOA2)

They say it can take up to 8 weeks, but it is usually shorter. You can call them as much as you want - but I have not really seen many case #s given out less than about a month from NOA2. I ended up calling weekly until I got close to a month and kept an eye on other people with a similar timeline as mine to see if they were getting theirs.

I am still lost. because when i contacted the embassy(not sure if they know) They said if my dad is living in same house he should fill i864A. where as everyone telling me i864.

Who files i864a?

Form I-864A is a Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member, it should be used in cases where the U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident who is petitioning for a family member to immigrate does not have sufficient income to serve as the sole financial sponsor, but needs help from someone living in his or her home to meet the required 125% of Poverty Guidelines level. By signing Form I-864A, both the main sponsor and the household member agree that, while the main sponsor will still fill out a Form I-864 and share financial responsibility for the immigrant, the member of the sponsor’s household will also provide some financial support to the immigrant, if needed. Both the sponsor and the household member will need to sign the I-864A. The sponsor will attach Form I-864A to the main Form I-864 as part of the AOS application.

You have to call various times before getting through, then the wait time is always around 30 min for me.

Hello Friends,

I am getting ready for DS-260 form with the help of screenshots. Here are my doubts.,

1.My native language is Tamil. So How could I write my full name in Tamil? When we filed i130, We just wrote my name and address in Tamil using Pen. But not sure how could I fill it out in electronic form.

2. I lived in 4 different addressess from my age 16. One is the present address ,been living for past 8 years. 5 years in previous address. But both the address are in the same town which were street next to each other.not so far tho. During living in the present address, I moved to Chennai for job n lived there for 6 months before wedding and another 6 months after wedding in 2 different addressess which were next flat to each other in the same apartment. jus a single number differs in door number for both. So Do I need to get PCC only from regional passport office for present address thts the one on my passport or Do I need to get Police certificate for Chennai address also? or Do I need to get PCC for all 4 addressess? I am so confused in this part.

3.In the present and previous address information page., we were asked for Home phone number or Work phone number or Mobile number. So whose number should i give here. Can I give my husband's work phone number or mobile phone number? or Should I give mine?

4.Should I say Yes or No for the "Is your mailing address as same as your present address?" I lives in my present address in India. Should I give my USA address where I intend to live or India address?. For what , They are asking for mailing address? For all future correspondence or only for passport with visa delivery?

5.In Present work/Education/Training information page. Should I say Homemaker or Not employed in Primary occupation? Coz I am simply focusing on visa stuffs, not working anywhere currently.

6. In previous work/education/training information page., Both my previous employers moved to different locations in the same city. Not in the address where they were located when i was working. So Should I give the current addresses of them or Just Can I give the addresses which has been mentioned in my offer letter or Pay stubs or Experience certificates? If I give the current addressess of both the employers, Then Do I need to get some proof or letter from them?

7.What does that mean Supervisor's Surname and Given name? Whose name I should give?

8. I can read, write and speak in both English and Tamil. I do speak sourashtra which is my mother tongue. The meaning of native language and mother tongue are the same? coz My native is Tamilnadu, where we communicate with people in Tamil. And We do speak in sourashtra with our relatives, sourashtrian friends and family. So My native language is Tamil or Sourashtra? in No.1 question I mentioned that my native language is Tamil but I m not sure on that too. But when filed i130 petition. I printed my full name and address in Tamil where i was aksed to fill it in native language.

9.My husband gonna sign in the form as Petitioner and fill out all. So in Sign and submit page.,Should I say Yes or No to " Did anyone assist you in filling out this application?" How could we take this question as to petitioner or beneficiary? If it ask to petitioner, Should We say Yes or No? or If the question is for beneficiary, Should I say Yes or No since my husband(Petitioner) gonna fill out this form? and whose DOB we should give?

Thanks for sparing your time in reading my post. Great advices would be appreciated greatly.
