An update for those who inhabit the land of EP with us:

Half an hour ago we received an acknowledgement eMail confirming receipt of our IV package which as our signature indicates was eMailed to NVCElectronic on April 1st.

Now: waiting and hoping and waiting and hoping!!

BTW they are aware of the list we have going on here. I asked if she reads the forum, she said she DOES NOT but doesn't know if others do. I did not mention VJ..

I was told mail is processed by the day.

Most people do not wait for the bills to show paid before they send in the packages. Sometimes they get truckloads of mail per day.

We had a discussion about the I-130 backlog when they were stockpiling the files.. Then all of a sudden the NVC got slammed she said... She said they are trying to offer better customer service and spend more time answering the questions from the callers because it is taking longer to process at the NVC. I thanked her for being so nice.

Tell me about it! It'll be 4 years for me in August, and I've barely gone a day without being on here. Heck, even when I'm on vacation (and flying at 30,000 feet), I'm still on VJ

hello i have a question plz tell me, when NVC assigned you a Case Number did they send any notification letter to the petitioner or beneficiary. and if they sent after how many days did they send you letter informing about case Number and further process procedure.

hello i have a question plz tell me, when NVC assigned you a Case Number did they send any notification letter to the petitioner or beneficiary. and if they sent after how many days did they send you letter informing about case Number and further process procedure.

How about proof of current income? (employment letter, pay stubs) although optional.

It's up to you about the 3 years worth of transcripts, but why wouldn't you use them if you have them I guess.

And mark or sticky note your case number on the top corner of each page.

I received an email with case number etc. a little over a week after it was actually assigned. The email went to both beneficiary and petitioner.

I'll create it once I get home from work. So, a little under 12 hours from now. Everyone, enjoy the last few hours in the April thread

Btw I talked to Reese yesterday and i told her nvc hasnt replied to my email for consulate change as of yet and she asked me to put in the request with the AOS form again when we submit it again (since we got the checklist) what do u guys say?

I was so hoping to get a case complete before the end of April, but I guess I made some good progress for now!

Still a tiny window of hope for a June interview!!!!!!!
