Yes that idea of a VJ Adventure has been mentioned by several members.

I would love to do something. Any members that are interested PM me.

And after the dust settles and we get our family's here then we can see

Ok so tomorrow I will be sending the AOS packet or is that too soon since I just paid the AOS fee? I have to include the cover sheet that has my husbands info right? Also did anyone actually include the instructions for the I-864? :wow: My printer just decided to quit!!

A few of us sent our AOS as soon as we paid the fee, but the general advice is to be sure it clears your account before sending it off.

Include the bar coded cover sheet, and an optional cover letter with a list of included documentation if you like.

No need to send instructions... although maybe someone should do that and highlight the 'leave it blank' instruction, lol!

I have a HI REZ file.....Now you have given me a great idea......for personal use of The VJ Tribe of course...

And of course we will need a buff.....

Hi, I just received my NVC case number and invoice id, but when I try to sign in it says..."Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time." Is it too early or did I made a mistake on the numbers? I didn't said any packets or anything.

Don't panic, just try every few hours or whenever you get a chance, as they're inputting your data and before you know it (hours or a few days), you'll be able to fill in your DS261.

Have you read Saylin's wiki at the start of this thread? It will answer oh so many questions :D

Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

I've been trying to call the NVC for the past 5 hours, no go. Looks like everyone is calling in to see if they were scheduled for an interview... Anyone else had any luck connecting? Or maybe it's a sign that I should stop trying for the day to prevent any further disappointment.

1/29/14 - NVC assigned case number

2/10/14 - DS-261 was filled out and AOS was paid

2/11/14 - AOS was mailed

3/10/14 - AOS Checklist for missing field (Didn't write N/A)

3/11/14 - AOS was resent

3/20/14 - IV fee was invoiced and paid

3/26/14 - DS-260 was filled out and the IV documents were mailed from India

3/27/14 - AOS was approved (Reply to the checklist)

4/1/14 - received a false checklist for IV documents

4/7/14 - IV Documents reached NVC

4/11/14 - IV Documents were touched by NVC

4/29/14 - Case Complete (Called on April 30)

4/30/14 - Checklist for IV docs (To obtain PCC - This is normal for Mumbai)

5/6/14 - CASE COMPLETE confirmation email received.

5/9/14 - Interview was scheduled for June 17 @ Mumbai Consulate

5/13/14 - Received IL letter (P4 Packet)

lol yeah, so I paid $33 to express mail my IV packet on Friday, and, of course, it didn't get there until Monday! but, at least it's there. when did yours get in?

The beginning of the week is a little slower. But Thursday and Friday really heat up. They crank them out at the end of the week. :)
