Immunity is retained until the next "blindside" occurs.

Definitions

Blindsided

It’s about excellence in posting. A post with some combination of wit, humor, truth or

cleverness that points out something obvious from another members post that they

themselves were not fully aware of. The Blindside is complete when the post is quoted

and recognized by multiple tribe members for these qualities.

Hi guys! Just a quick question on DS260 (although its not ready yet to filled up on the ceac website )

Is it okay if I'l be the one to fill it up online? I'm the petitioner by the way. I know Saylin says on her wiki its ok for petitioner due to languange barrier, but I'm just wondering what to put in when you sign in? Is it petitioner ( since im the petitioner) or primary applicant? ( since im filling it up in behalf of the beneficiary. Thank u guys! Can't wait fir the DS260 to be ready and send the IV packet just waiting for my husbands police certificate..

Hoping we get our Casr a Number this week. It has been a long month!

You can always check the spreadsheet to see if your line has been updated. If it's not, then one can go to the form responses to see why they haven't been added.

I hope i have an update later from husband telling me he DHL'd the certified court docs to our lawyer. Hoping he can get them!

Annoyingly our lawyer wants it sent to their office first, so they can do the cover letters etc. Loses another day but they advised us strongly.

I called NVC today and my case number was assigned on 4/25/14!

I called around 7:45 A.M. and spoke with Jenny who was very nice! She was not a Miss Nasty Pants! lol!

Approximately 30 business days after the packet arrives from USCIS

It is assigned a case #. An example NVC case number looks like this: NWD2008521001.

Split the figures as follows: LLL NNNN NNN NNN, where "L" is a letter and "N" is a number.

The three letters from the left. This is the code for the U.S. consulate that has jurisdiction

over the visa applicant's location. It is where he will get a visa interview.

For example, "NWD" refers to the U.S. consulate in New Delhi, India.

This number is obtained by calling NVC

On another subject my friend.... photo update of my boy at home

in Thailand taking care of the plants and waiting for Dad.

I spoke with Jean today, she searched for supervisor, but they were all on meeting, but she promises she will cross the message, and i will call again for sure. She was like you're waiting too long. Ok so the case number entered for my husband is the same for example the one you gave here NWD2008521001 and is used for all places case number is asked for as in beneficiary's case number or petitioners case number it's the same?

OMG he really is gorgeous very beautiful child indeed. Thank you so much for sharing the pictures it's heart warming.

I know I shouldn't have but was a little scared tonight reading that the visa doesn't mean entry into the USA. I can't imagine after all this they would stop anyone and send them back, seems so cruel. Ok sorry don't mean to depress anyone, can't help but reading up on these things.

its Monday and for the first time in months, I don't have to put a daily call into the NVC! It feels so odd! Typically on what day have interviews been historically scheduled? Is it the 1st day of the month or a few days into the month?

Yes once assigned that case # stays with you throughout the process.

Don't worry about getting in...you will be fine.

Your "blindside" was a classic that will go down in Survivor "The Visa Journey" history.
