I heared NVC work on Saturday today i called but message say to call bank on working hours Monday to Friday

yesterday i called they didn't recieved so i hope they already complete my case

Yes, otherwise you'd be sending in the passport or ripping out pages... which I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to do:)

We need some unique names for these groups in keeping with Survivor tradition.

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

Ok. I'm going on 8 and nothing yet. We'll see if it shows up by 10 days. For those who know, is the DS-261 auto generated or does someone at the NVC have to generate it manually? I'm wondering if it will show up this weekend or if I will have to wait till Monday.

You can call NVC next week and inquire about not being able to access your DS-261.

Question besides vaccinations and X-rays what else can be done before your ripped off at the Dr's the Embassy sends us to? I want to be ripped off the least possible. :D:yes:

The X-rays are done at the panel physician. Only the vaccines can be done ahead of time.

You can call NVC next week and inquire about not being able to access your DS-261.

I asked them when I gave over our emails on Monday the 21st and they told me it takes 20 business days... <_<

Hello Everyone,

First of all, congratulations to everyone who receive case complete today!! What a great way to start the weekend.

Secondly, allow me to join the celebration because I also just received my CASE COMPLETE for both my wife and daughter!!!! :dancing: :joy:

Congratulations. So happy for you. Also congratulations to all the Case Completes from yesterday. The case complete email will take about a week to arrive. But you are right on time for June interview.

Hey guys i got my case number today! very excited. i added my timeline but not sure if its working so i have manual added the timeline.

To my understanding i now need to wait a day or two until DS-261 available and after that pay AOS and so on for which i will get a email from NVC because of DS-261 form i fileld out?. One thing that is complelty confusing me is the whole OPIN online option, Being that i am sponsering my wife from Pakistan she can't use that option where i scan all my documents and email them instead, this is based off the guides i have read here. Only Montreal and China support this?

No that option is only for residents of certain countries like Canada, China. Not for most countries. And based on reading others experience on this thread I think OPTIN option may not be any better as far as how swift the documents are reviewed and processed. Simply using USPS - Express mail (next day delivery) is a pretty good option. I think in about a week from your Case # date you will be able to log in and be able to fill in the DS-261, pay the I-864 invoice etc. Do not ever wait for NVC to email you. They will, but they are very slow in sending out emails.

Two things - you can start counting the money :) that will pay the doctor, and check for cheaper airfares (to compensate for what you have to pay the doctor)

Hey, for those of you who have recently gotten "Case Complete"...has your status on the CEAC "Visa Status Check" page changed? Or does it continue to say "At NVC" until they send it to the appropriate Consulate/Embassy? (Or does it ever change at all????)

The NVC completed its processing of MD HAQ's visa petition.

The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in DHAKA, BANGLADESH. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.

They might end up working some Saturdays, but calling hours are still Monday - Friday. Phone lines are closed on the weekends.

Did you receive the email today or was it sitting in your inbox from yesterday? Just trying to get an idea whether the NVC processors are working today .... I know the phones aren't open but maybe they are chipping away at the backlog !

Keep in mind, emails can be delayed by quite a few hours. I also received my interview letter on a Saturday (4am in the morning actually), even though I had found out Friday afternoon of my interview date. They were definitely not working at 4am on a Saturday :no:

I just received two emails from them telling my I-129F is administratively colsed!
