Beneficiary - Applying for CR1/IR1 (but also played the K3 card prior to understanding it may be phased out.)

2013: July 20: I-130 sent (Chicago lockbox)

July 24: I-130 NOA1

July 24: I-129F sent (Dallas Lockbox)

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 10 - NOA2

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

April 7 - CASE NUMBER yay! IIN and BIN obtained and email given.

April 9 - DS261 available and filled in online.

April 9 - AOS not yet payable but visible.

April 10 - email regarding NVC case number and access to DS261 received/ email regarding AOS received and paid.

April 11 - AOS sent by snail mail.

April 14 - AOS arrived per mail tracking.

April 15 - IV bill received via email, IV bill paid/ in process, IV package sent.

April 18 - IV bill showing paid/ DS-260 available and done!

- AOS scanned into their system.

April 21 - IV package arrived per mail tracking.

April 24 - IV scanned into their system.

May 2 - False checklist for IV documents= AOS approval.

May 13 - NVC rep reported ? missing Police certificate via my phone call.

- Supervisor review initiated.

May 14 - Checklist for Police certificate came via email.

- Sent checklisted documentation priority post!

May 15 - Package delivered per mail tracking.

May 19 - Case COMPLETE!! Police certificate found by NVC:)

May 28 - Case complete email arrived.

May 30 - Assigned Interview date!

June 2 - Interview letter arrived via email.

June 11- Medical appointment Surrey, BC

July 8 - Interview in Montreal!! APPROVED!!!!!!!! July 10 - Visa package and passport in hand!! July 23 - POE!!

They told me to write e-mail request to change an embassy and attached copy of my passport. I just know that it will take forever for them to read an e-mail :crying: It's sucks.

I pray that your case gets back on track very soon. This is an unusual error on their part that should be corrected quickly I hope.

Hi all,

We just received the following message from nvc:

____F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________

We received your Immigrant Visa Application; however, we have not received an Affidavit of Support form. You must submit an Affidavit of Support form before we can complete your case.

I'm pretty sure we have submitted this, would I need to re-submit?

I am panicking here so any help would be very useful.

I am at least glad, that I find this error now at the beginning.

You might be able to file an expedite request because of their mistake! I would definitely try!

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

-2013-04-22: NOA1 (Case transferred on 12/04) -2014-02-07: NOA2 -2014-02-24: Case received at NVC (Case # received on 03/27) -2014-03-29: DS-261 completed -2014-03-31: AOS fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/02, package sent on 04/03) -2014-04-04: IV fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/08, package sent on 04/05) -2014-04-08: DS-260 completed online -2014-04-14: AOS & IV packages received at NVC (entered in the system on 04/17 and 04/18) -2014-05-05: AOS checklist (phone), joint-sponsor's proof of citizenship lost (other copy arrived at NVC on 05/08, NVC "received" the checklist response on 05/09)

This sounds like a false checklist. Probably because they haven't input your AOS packet in their system yet. Call NVC to confirm.

Salary and I only have w2.

Whatever your Salary amount is.. times that by how many times you are paid per year. That is your CURRENT yearly income. W2 and past income is not a factor in this. They're asking for your CURRENT income, that you SHOULD make THIS (2014) year.

AOS form is DS261, did you complete that already? If so, that means they are looking at your application. This is a false checklist. I received two false checklists when they were reviewing our IV packet, one to pay the IV fee and one to complete the AOS form. No need to resubmit anything.. The DS 261 is online....

Just an update, I called the NVC and was on hold for 20 mins... not too bad, anyways talked to Todd, he said all they are waiting on is to review the DS260. he asked when it was submitted I said 3/25, he said okay it takes 30 business days to review and add to your case. I asked whether everything else such as the two packets (AOS and IV) and AOS forms were good, he said yah everything else looks great no problems. So I'm thinking to call again on Friday for a possible case complete. Anyone have any other estimates?

One more thing. I asked Todd what month they are scheduling interviews and he said from what he has seen that other embassies are scheduling for the end of May.... :wow: I'm hoping for a case complete and an interview date in May... :cry: :cry: I really would love if my husband were here for the birth of our child...
