I'm starting to freak out now.. I sent in my AOS package on 04/08/2014, it arrived on 04/10/2014 (according to usps tracking), and sent IV package on 04/11/2014, it arrived on 04/14/2014 (according to usps tracking). As of now, they have RECEIVED ONE package on 04/17/2014; but they don't know what it is yet. That is the only update I have on my case. DS260 has not been reviewed either. I have been calling every or every other day, and same response. "We don't know what was received, we just know a package has been received. It can take up to 30 days." one of the reps even said that's odd, send an email with tracking numbers, etc. I have done all of that. I'm just worried because of the original documents, and the fact it has been so long.

what do I do?

I'm getting annoyed and paranoid, because we started our "Journey" with I-130 in February last year..

You are right about that! Most likely by the time they review it will be showing as paid anyway

You might be ok sending AOS early/overnight today itself..ofcourse you risk sending again if it is rejected (you would know that by monday/tuesday itself again) but i wouldnt take the chance with teh IV package.

Hey guys - For those that meet the 125% poverty guideline, did you also declare assets as well on your I-864? I'm not sure if I should because I'm well above the minimum requirement and they mentioned that it's not required if you are, but just seeing what everyone else did.

hello everybody i would like asking for how much day take from sending I864 and the fees be available to pay??

Salam,

You don't send I-864 until you pay AoS fees first. I-864 is the Affidavit of Support (AoS) and you need to pay the 88$ AoS fee before you send it.

The Immigrant Visa (IV) fee will be available once you submit DS261 AND IS ACCEPTED.

Hope this helps

If you satisfy the 125% poverty guidelines then you don't need to list assets. You will be fine without

Once DS261 is completed, it takes about 5 to 10 days (usually less) for the IV fees to be invoiced

I wouldn't worry. Mine was received on 9th and another on the 11th, and they weren't registered in their system till the 16th and 15th. I read in another post and it made sense, maybe they are purposely taking their time in registering incoming mail into their system because they are so backed up with their work. I know I would be the same way you are, and I would just send an e-mail. I'm sure your packages will be registered before they reply to the e-mail :)
