NVC Filers - April 2014

I swear I should have hired one of you guys to do this for me since my lawyer is a royal screw up. She lost my tax returns and my original marriage certificate then told me I never gave them to her. Do any of you know if I can put a complaint against her to the BBB or Bar? She also told me I act like I know everything but I'm actually stupid and screamed at me to get out of her office. The only reason I haven't told her to stick it where the sun don't shine is because I know NVC is a bit shorter with a lawyer.

My lawyer got offended when I told him what the income number should be not what he said ! And I was right.. and he forgot to sign the AOS.... un-freaking-believeable

He took his good old time so I just did it myself. He sent me an email telling me to call and make an appt for the waiver. So I call and make an appt for this Sunday. He sends me a message and says the other lawyer and the paralegal need to be there so Sunday won't work. Please call to re-schedule. So the office intern tries to call me but can't. Sends me an email saying he can't get a hold of me and for me to call him. He lists an incorrect number. ( I'm pissed by this time because my file has my number. I have been a client since 2008.haven't changed my humber) I call back and explain that Sunday was perfect because I can't take time off from work. He tells me the first available appt is May 14th at 7pm. I got annoyed and said that they have had 12 months to get information to me about this waiver. I haven't received any kind of checklist and none of my questions have been answered... He needs to find an appt that is sooner. because I am not going to this interview without a completed waiver. end of story. I explained that it will take time for me to go to the doctors and get letters etc. He said he will call another client who has an appt on the 30th and see if they will reschedule. Their case is not as urgent as mine ( well, IMO every case is urgent when you are paying a boat load of cash)

He is supposed to be calling me back within 15 minutes....

I love what $3300.00 buys these days. and they still expect $2000 more before the interview..... and I paid the AOS and IV fees and I will be paying the $585 . waiver fee. What a rip. I should have just done the USCIS and VISA part myself.

Has anyone any experience with changing case numbers at the NVC and how long this takes. When I submitted the i130 i was in HK, so i have an HNK number. We mailed them this change about 3 weeks ago, however they have said that my new address is on the system, but as yet no LDN case number.

They have also said we can process the case (i.e: send in the docs as normal) under the HNK number, which i have done, but surely they should change this soon!

Hey I have changed my consulate during the NVC process, you have to email them requesting a change and attach proof of it. they can change consulate to home country or where you are. So either send copy of passport from London, or proof of residing there, took me 40 days to get it.

What the heck is going on?????

Every time I try to access the form I get the following message:

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

I've lost track towards the end of the process, can anyone look at my signature and guess when am likely to get a case complete.

Priority date isn't an issue for IR1/CR1 filers.

Bangladesh seems to be a medium-volume consulate for Asia. Look at historical statistics for your consulate/embassy's volume of immediate relative visas here: http://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/AnnualReports/FY2013AnnualReport/FY13AnnualReport-TableXII.pdf

Submit all those things to NVC, and they'll forward them to the consulate when you get case complete Make sure you're using originals or certified copies.

Holy moley. I paid $2500 plus fees. That's crazy. On the bright side at least he hasn't lost your stuff or basically called you an idiot. There seems to be a reason that lawyer and liar sound so similar...

When you log in to CEAC

Press CTRL, ALT, DEL

Click Start Task Manager

Under Processes find "case not eligible"

Click "end process"

Reboot........

we have a waiver to file after the interview. I'm no good at writing especially something that is so important.. that is why we have him . The waiver is difficult ( at least fo rme) I-601 hardship waiver.

My lawyer is not happy with me ... thats for sure. He tried to blame me because he forgot to sign my AOS package because I pressured them to hurry !! like 11 months wasn't long enough to have this all ready??? right??
