If you are using anything but Internet Explorer (IE) you might have issues.

well .. we have tried from both of them . explorer and google chrom ..so worried dont kno what to do now ?

hey friends .. we need ur helo .. finally yesterday night they unlock the status of our ds 261 payment to pay .. but when we tried to pay after clicking the payment the next page is showing eror that no data recieved .. does any body knows its a broswer problem or ceac site problem? . while we checked both explorer and google chrom .. thanks ..

I could possibly take a day or two. It may not happend immediately. You know how sometimes when you go make an electronic payment, sometimes it doesn't show up until the system resets during the close of business for that day...

does NVC schedule interview only end of every month? or they schedule anytime?

because i send my AOS checklist April 5th and waiting for case complete and get interview date

I could possibly take a day or two. It may not happend immediately. You know how sometimes when you go make an electronic payment, sometimes it doesn't show up until the system resets during the close of business for that day...

They only do scheduling at the end of month into early the following. Scheduling for June interviews should begin in about a week, and how long it lasts will vary by embassy/consulate.

The NVC computer system isn't instant.. not sure if it is their way of controlling the workflow or it is just bogged down with so many processes running at the same time... BUT the error might be that it is still processing in the system. You can check back at the CEAC website every 5 minutes if you want.

When I received the email to pay both bills, that came around 4:30 pm on a Friday afternoon. I wasn't able to pay until Saturday. The money was taken from my account but it didn't show paid on the CEAC until 2 days later.

The system is processing 1000's of other payments. Just keep checking.... I'm positive there is nothing wrong. patience is a virtue.... Unfortunately I ran out months ago ! LOL

Question.. There is a triangle in front of the AOS fee.. When I select the fee and click pay it says page not available.. Is this normal?

I was told last night that when you get a case complete, your file goes into a queue to wait for interview appointments. It is separated by country. You may get an interview a little quicker if there are less immigrates from the same country. She said there is not a specific time frame when they get scheduled. It depends on the queue

Amanda told me she doesn't see many Costa Rica calls coming in. So hopefully when my time comes... it will be pretty quick !

Hello VJers,

I have a question about the AOS package.

I am living in Serbia with my husband. We are waiting for NVC to receive our case. I do not qualify for supporting my husband. My father (living in the US) is going to cosponsor. Here's the question: Can I send him the link to the I-864 and have him fill it out and send it to me (with supporting documents) now? I know we still have a while until we will send in our AOS package, but I want to send all documents together. Plus my father will be traveling soon and now seems to be the best time to have him fill it out. Any thoughts? If I do have him fill it out now, should I have him leave the date blank and I can fill it in when I receive it?

I want to know how case complete email look like because i cant call and hear those word i have to wait for case complete email and i know its come after week from case complete

if you don't mind can you give us example of your case complete email?

also if your interview schedule will you get email instantly or have to wait for week also?

I am in pretty much the same situation as you, just in Mexico. I already sent my sister the link for the I-864 so she could begin to fill it out and gather documents that are needed. I'm guessing that it would be okay if your father did the same thing. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The interview email will arrive the same day it's scheduled. That one is more or less instant.

That question is in case the foreign spouse has come to the US since filing the I-130 and wishes to adjust status. If the spouse is still abroad, this doesn't apply.
