The embassies submit a schedule to the NVC with their available appointments. there is no specific timeline to get an interview. Once you get a case complete, you go into a queue for an interview that is separated by country. So I guess it depends on the number of immigrants for each country.

Don't wait, send it now. There's no requirement for AOS to be approved or even submitted before you send in the IV, they're not related to each other. Get the IV done now and it's one less thing holding you up, especially if you get checklisted for 2013 taxes.

Thanks. Do i send in the original certificates or can i send in attested copies of the documents for the IV package? In case they get misplaced i dont want to loose my original copies.

I'm having high hopes that i will submit IV documents here in Macedonia, maybe that's why is this delay. I spoke with one friend and her cousin had it that experience and she never heard that someone was submitting there. Who knows there is not strict rules in this waiting game that driving me completely insane.

My husband told me to focus on something else but I can't :)))))

Is an attested copy like a notarized copy? If that's the case, then no, those won't be suitable to send to NVC. You can send certified copies if you're not comfortable sending your originals.

Is an attested copy like a notarized copy? If that's the case, then no, those won't be suitable to send to NVC. You can send certified copies if you're not comfortable sending your originals.

Notarized is NOT accepted it has to be certified and you get those where you get the originals. :D Your Correct in this.

I mean seriously NVC.. What is this three little pigs ?

After dimwit bureaucrats, ridiculous backlogs, files getting lost between the cis and the nvc offices and waiting to pay for an eternity, we are being subdued by something that does not even have a physical presence.

She was serious about the winds. I live in a very rural area of upper New York, and only have satellite broadband and TV. Both my internet and tv reception yesterday just sucked. Anyone who depends on satellite transmissions can relate. You don't want your digital payments packets broken up - the transmission will fail each time.

So it wasn't Three Little Pigs.

Any one can advice me what to do. I done the ds-260 last January 31, 2014.and the document already send to the nvc it was delivered febuary 18, 2014 but until now no results for the nxt step. Tried to call the nvc to check the status they said that they did not got any of my document. But when i track it said that it was delivered already

Sorry for the delay. call and talk to a supervisor...

I guess you will need to resend them if they dont find it eventually

A good portion of my daily commute is walking, so I can also attest to the fact that the winds this week have been serious business :lol: I'm glad they didn't come until after the marathon, I can't imagine those poor people running into a constant 25 mph headwind. Now I have to get up on my roof and make sure there are no downed branches <_<

I have just heard that NVC will do a Case Complete without a police certificate if te Certificate can be sent direct to the Consulate. Can anybody else confirm this?

I believe this to be true for us Aussies, Hong Kongers and Japanese (to name the three I know about) where the Police Certificate must be mailed directly to the Consulate. If you are in NSW or QLD (QLD for us), this is true.
