My IV invoice was generated yesterday @ 4:30 pm ET. The system would still not allow me to pay. When was yours generated?

I think i saw people mention DHL here? If i can save myself 300$ change flight fee (by getting a june interview) then sending a package DHL for 38-50 bux is SO worth it.

Q- i was curious Saylin, is this your site? I was reading your blog last week- which is really good by the way, but you mentioned in 2012 you were maybe going to start an immigration website to help people- is this it? Or is this a website you are admin help for. If so WOW great job!

Thank you! From your answer, I suppose mine will be available for payment tomorrow. I just need the IV cover page in order to overnight my civil documents to NVC. Hopefully this happens tomorrow.

I finally got to pay my IV fee tonight, thank you for your prayers. I just had to let myself cry earlier to let it all out.

depends on the embassy.

I plan on tracking the file to the embassy and then calling them to schedule something if what I get is not good. My phone plan includes free international calling to a landline.. ( sorry for them )

May we know what your secret is would love free international calling if it's possible for Egypt. I bet it isn't but worth a try. (F)

No, since he is in Costa Rica he has to wait it out until the waiver is approved. The illegals get to stay in the US while thier waivers are processed... ( not sure why our government decided that was the way to deal with it )

That's why I am in such a hurry. He went back to Costa Rica ( on his own... not deported) almost 2 1/2 years ago. The 11 month USCIS wait was horrible and now we are in a hurry to get through the NVC to get the final leg of this journey under-way.

Same reason they decided to have a program for babies of illegals born in the USA put a head of all of us trying to do it the right way. This is the reason USCIS is so backed up they had to process 2000 of these cases a day ahead of us and babies they call from birth to 30 year old's. I'm sorry but this really upsets me. I've been called a racist for this, but I'm not a racist at all. I was born in Ecuador SA and my parents came here the right way through the Embassy.

Sorry for venting just frustrated for so many reasons, just received a letter from our insurance company that the case will be dropped for insufficient evidence of the car crash that totaled my parents Endeavor which was totaled by a drunk motor cyclist both police and paramedics smelled liquor on this guy but NO EVIDENCE OMG what did they want to see him drinking on Youtube? He refused a blood test etc. Ok sorry again just had to vent.

I called them about the fees not should paid and they only said wait 5 day!!! I was in shock that i didn't get the 30 days standard answer . lol

Sadly no, they asked me when USCIS sent me notice of acceptance I told Jim April 8 then he asked me when I received notice from them that they sent it I said April 15 Th and he said I had to wait at least two weeks to call. Of course I called again anyway but same answer from everyone.

from your sheet, I can guess that many fillers isn't give you any updates after they received case number from NVC.

They might left VJ.

So how long you keep them in your sheet?

No, not all members are up to date. I try going through the non-case complete section about once a month, going to every member's page and seeing if there's updates. But, I've never had this long of a list before, so I haven't gone through it in awhile as it's daunting, haha.

Plus, I created the form only last month, so those that were added before that may not know about it, thus they haven't submitted updates.

Plus, some people just fall off the map and never return to VJ. In which case, after one month of not logging in, I remove them from the spreadsheet.

Does every month's NVC forum have this much activity. It's actually concerning to me and seems to speak for the backlog that the NVC piled up from all of the sudden approvals. But I could be wrong and just used to the slower pace of the USCIS monthly filer forums haha

Nope, VJ is not my site (VJ has been around for much longer than just 2012). I wish it was, I'd probably be earning a lot off ad revenue! But alas, I'm a regular member, just like you. No, I was in the works of creating my own website, just information-based (no forums). I haven't worked on it in quite awhile though (there's actually a live version out there ) and I'm not sure if I'll ever finish. Even if I do though, I won't be able to publicize it here as I believe that's against TOS.

As long as you have a computer and an internet connection, you can call anywhere for free if you know what you're doing. Google can be your best friend, ya know
