Hi guys,

Two questions.

1- i plan on using i-864 rather than i-864 ez to add my other incomes besides w2...like from stocks and dividends/401k assets. I am in a dilemna as i do not really need supplemental assets to be eligible to sponsor but still think i will do that.

2- I had filed for my ex, there is a question include anyone you sponsored using an i-864 or ez and are lawful permanent residents. I know for a fact her conditional gc expired but dont know if she has or will re acquire it. It wont affect my numbers and keep me eligible but do i count "one" more member in the household because of that?

Saylin, is there any way to "pin" your intro post to the top of every page? I've been on other forums where this can happen - maybe a moderator can do this? It sure would be helpful - both for newbies and for us "oldies" that need to obsess...

My husband just text'd me and told me he called the embassy regarding the police certificate. They insisted he wait until our case is complete because so many people try to get ahead and get everything done before they receive the instructions. When their papers get to the embassy they are wrong. The man told him once the papers get to the embassy everything goes really fast. My husband is happy now !

And as far as the vaccinations go... my husband needed three that weren't on his vaccination record but are on the immigration list.

1. Varicella ( chicken pox)

2. Tetanus

3. I forget the third

They didn't give the flu shot.

He never had the chicken pox as a child so they gave the varicella to him. He is 34 years old. The Tetanus is normal. I think the US gives it every 5 years now instead of every 10.

It doesn't matter where you get the vaccinations, as long as you can prove you had them. If you are all up to date then just hand over the records. I would bet most people would need a tetanus if they haven't had one within the last 5 or 6 years. I have no idea what the civil doctor would charge. My husband's were covered under his insurance at his family doctor

Tetanus shot is still every 10 years in the US according to the CDC website. http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/diseases/tetanus

thanks for sharing info.

i am happy as long as my case is completed by the end of april.

by the way my friend ekec,

how do you know that your DS 260 is accepted?

did you call??

i know i can ask about AOS and IV package whether they are accepted or not by calling NVC.

but i don't know about DS 260. i submitted online like 2 weeks ago and no news yet.

also my AOS is still under review. they received on april 8th .

so i really wish that i want to be with you guys together to enjoy CC. but i am afraid that i will not.

hummmmmmm.

Don't worry cover letters are as you said, optional. You won't receive a checklist for not signing an optional cover letter. Its not something they require at all. We just include it for the sake of human error and letting them know what's included in the package.

thanks CanGirl...

i hope it will be like that.

good luck to you and all.

Thanks Ghosh, Yah your thing is correct but i have to mailed 2 times. So I thought like 1 mail with 2 things ;-).

Basically, PCC, Birth Certificate, Marriage Ceretificate,2 pics of beneficiary, bio page of beneficary passport. Additionally, photo copy of birth cert and marriage cert. Bar coded sheet on top. I also included a cover letter (optional). In my package I submitted original PCC, original Marriage Cert, but an attested copy of birth certificateshe did not want to part with her original birth certificate.
