Hi Lovemytico, I am reading this thread daily and I know what you and others had to deal with when having a lawyer. Unfortunately, we didn't know before, but we gave the lawyer the money to make all payments( we have no choice but to wait for him) :girlwerewolf2xn: Tomorrow I will be calling the paralegal to make payment and start moving with this process! If I knew about VJ family before we could have done it ourselves. Our case is not complicated at all and we paid him $5,000 :bonk: I am also worried that he wants to wait for instructions from NVC. I want this process done now! thanks for your reply and I wish you the best of luck with yours.... ;)

How did you pay fees to NvC my dear friend from August thread?

That's what I mean bro..

BTW what's the difference between general questions and case specific questions?

May be I am still missing something to know about this stupid NVC process., :reading:

Interesting! I hope they don't retrieve my application and spill coffee on it when I call them up! LOL!

General questions apply to everyone. For example, you're calling them to ask the list of documents that the applicant must submit to NVC. Of course, we can look it up on the USCIS site, but some people prefer to call NVC instead (maybe it's faster or they can't find the web site). http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/immigrate/immigrant-process/documents/submit/documents-to-submit-to-nvc.html#police Case specific questions apply only to you. For example, there is a delay in your case, and you're calling them up to find out what's going on.

Fingers crossed that I won't have to call them up for case specific questions that often. I don't want them to lose my application or spill coffee on it.

Not sure. You've submitted an I-864 for all of those people?

As you can see from my timeline, still waiting to pay :clock: , I hope will be available tomorrow! We have a lawyer and I hope he doesn't take his time, he has been on vacation since last week and the paralegal too! We can't wait for this process to be finish soon.... You will probably get your case # tomorrow, keep on calling until you get it.

I hope we get ours soon also......I've been calling on Mondays and Fridays hahah I think they know me by name now. I don't blame you for wanting this process to be over soon! Gosh it'll be a year in August since we've started and have a feeling it'll be a little longer. -_-
