Nice! Since I'm on the West Coast, I'll be calling them in the evening.

I talked to a lady around 3pm (6pm on the East Coast). I forgot to ask her name. She was really nice.

I'm happy that I (beneficiary) can finally talk to someone.

Being in the West Coast, evenings have worked better for me always - around 6 ~7 pm (9 ~ 10 pm East Coast). I have been lucky to always get very nice gentlemen and ladies at the NVC. Always very courteous and helpful. So no complaints there.

When they took your 88$ from account? Days? hours?

In my case the AOS fee was taken out of my account in 4 days (3/13 ~ 3/17). Of course there was a weekend in between. Although, the IV payment was taken out in 2 days. I have a feeling that although the process is online, NVC initiates the withdrawal of the funds from their end.

I have a question please , the form i-864 part 5 subsection 6 they ask about previous co-sponsored person, i did to my brother,wife and dauther ,but they are not resident yet and the form says "who are now lawful permanent resident " ,do i have to put them or not . if i put them i still will be below the properly line(almost exactly the same amount) ,but i dont wants to be returned my papers for check lis

I don't think the NVC holds any payments and waits to process them. I think that is illegal. It really depends on your bank. Some banks have different policies. I think that is why they don't allow credit card payments. Sometimes a bankcard puts a hold on funds and then it may take days for that to drop off. Payment taken directly from the account with the routing number is much faster.

If I wouldn't have gotten a checklist I would have had a case complete in 20 days from the time they received my IV packet. But the checklist held us up about 3 1/2 weeks! UGH! BUt we are there now! Thanks!

Sooooooo, I called NVC at 10:00pm, was on hold for 27 minutes. I spoke to Lee and she told me CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy and relieved! I feel so blessed to have found this website. I would have never made it through this process so quickly and easiy ( even with a checklist) without my VJ family. And everyone here truly is like family. We support each other through the good times and bad, we disagree and sometimes even fight with each other but at the end of the day we are still there for each other. (just like family) Thanks Guys!!!

I have an attorney as well. Ironic thing about it is that it's her uncle that is attorney! Just passing the fees is all and I am so glad! because I would have never been able to do this on my own. God just has a way of working things so awesome!

I have an attorney too and if I waited for him to pay our fees I would still be waiting. So I just paid them the second they were available. I have done EVERYTHING so far. I am still not sure why I paid him . LOL !! and why did your attorney send money orders? That seems odd to me. Its 2014, they should be up on the electronic age.

That's nice to hear! I'll definitely call them up in the evening on the West Coast (at night on the East Coast)!

I guess someone mentioned that NVC reps keep a log of how many time you have called. I'm planning to call them up just once a week so it shouldn't be too much.

I hope I don't end up calling them every 2-3 hours worrying about my case. LOL! I promised myself to behave well at the NVC stage unlike at the USCIS/Nebraska stage.

Some people call every day. I waited until two weeks after my NOA2 to call (still wasn't there), and then called weekly until it was. At what service center was your I-130? Sometimes they forward really quickly (I think CSC is the fastest) and sometimes it takes forever (TSC for sure - that's where MINE was!).

I was in Texas and it only took 11 days to be received and given a case number/IIN number. I suggest keep calling !!
