We also like to know this. Our petitioner submitted I-864 with Transcript only for 2013 along with W2 and 1099. She submitted Transcripts for three years. In 2012 and 2011 her income was only from salary but in 2013 it was a combination of salary and self-employed income.

For I-864, if you are submitting tax transcripts then you do not need to submit any other schedules or attachments. If you do not have a tax transcript, then you need to submit the whole tax filing package (1040, and all the schedules) plus W2 etc.

How is it that your marriage certificate has an expiry date? Once you're married you're married, right?

In case of a divorce or any other changes, the government authorities of several countries make legal annotations right on the original marriage certificate (side or back of the document). So you may have a copy of your certificate that you obtained a year ago but if you got divorced just 4 months ago, then your copy is now outdated. An expiration date ensures that people are using the most recent document that their government has on record.

Hello, I have been paying attention to your posts and they are very helpful, :) thank you. Would you help me with my question please, I did ask everybody about it yesterday, but didn't get any response.((

Question:What kind of questions DS-261 does contain?

Since my husband works a lot, I want to help him with what I can, so I want to fill out DS-261 myself and I want to make sure that I have all info.

Tank you

In case of a divorce or any other changes, the government authorities of several countries make legal annotations right on the original marriage certificate (side or back of the document). So you may have a copy of your certificate that you obtained a year ago but if you got divorced just 4 months ago, then your copy is now outdated. Cool. I had no idea some countries did that. Learn something new every day!

We have a similar timeline (from approval stage at least!)... Nice to see a fellow Aussie in the thread :) we're also holding off until Friday to call NVC and see whether our case is there. It's the only night of the week I can stay up late enough to call! I could try during the day, but not exactly convenient with work... Bring on the end of daylight savings so we can call earlier ;)

This is from my notes during the time I was preparing mine. Hope it helps :)

I translated everything just to be sure. I made copy's of everything, just to be sure.

Birth Certificates

You (and any family members immigrating with you to the United States) must obtain an original birth certificate issued by the official custodian of birth records in your country of birth, showing your date of birth, place of birth, and parentage.

Important Notice: All Immigrant Visa applicants must submit a long form original birth certificate. Short form birth certificates will not be accepted.

The certificate must contain the:

  • Your date of birth
  • Your place of birth
  • Names of both parents
  • Indication by the appropriate authority that it is an extract from the official records

I have read this before that the birth certificate must contain names of both parents but the certificate we get here in my place does not list the mother's name and I don't even think they will put the mother's name if requested.

Tank you

Are there questions like full name, address, phone # ?

And how about at the end of form, they ask for electronic signature. Is it you just print your full name or its have to be digital signature?

Hi dilmera.

1) you can email to NVC if you didn't email yet.

please write your husband and your full name and birthdate.

also, your MSC number.

2) when you call USCIS, talk with them as you r petitioner. ( don't tell them that you are calling from abroad.)

They can't catch you from your voice.

They might ask petitioner birthdate and address. ( nothing else)

Lying with USCIS for good reason is completely fine at this stage. ( my opinion )

I am sorry to them who feels it's not good to lie.

Hi Deep, are you perhaps suggesting I email NSC? I did email NSC some days after my approval, I think on March 10, but did not get a reply till now. I just wrote my case number and did not provide them any other details and signed off as Mrs. (my husband's middle name). I had previously written to them with just my case number about the delayed processing of my case and they replied to me after I got an RFE that they were working on my case and I was sent an RFE.

About calling USCIS, I tried but I could not get to a live person. And about me claiming to be the petitioner, are you saying they can't catch from my voice that I am a female and the petitioner is a male?

I did tell my husband yesterday to call the lawyer and tell him to find out whether the case was shipped or not. My husband says he called the lawyer and he didn't receive (he almost never does) and that he left a message. I will email NSC again as well as fax them today.

I think the List of Approved Panel Physicians for Mumbai consulate was posted by Bkghosh. What I want to know is, is it the latest instructions? Do I need to take all of these immunizations?

D.P.T

T.D.

Oral Polio

MMR

Hepatitis B

Varicella

Hib

Measles Vaccine

Pneumococcal Vaccine

Influenza Vaccine

Tdap

Hepatitis A

Meningococcal

Hepatitis A+B

HPV

I don't think I will need the oral polio as it does not apply to me and I got chicken pox as a child, so I won't be needing the Varicella vaccine. Also, I think the hepatitis A+B is the same as hepatitis A and hepatitis B.

Bkghosh or somebody help.
