husband forgot to use CAPITAL letters in filling up i864w for our 2 minors. hope this won't be a big deal for them to issue us a checklist.....

NVC pls have some mercy on our minor mistakes...

I think you will be ok. I've seen others not use caps and they were fine. Good luck my friend. I'm here left behind too!

I left Part 3 blank and was worried about a checklist. I called NVC the other day and the lady said it would be fine. But who knows. *fingers crossed*

Try calling NVC and see if you need to send in an amended form!

We have seen some VJers getting a check list for not putting N/A for address column. If mailing and residence addresses are same then you need to put N/A in next column. We submitted i-864 blank as where didn't need to fill any info.

Let's hope for the best!!!

I hope I don't get a checklist so badly! I put SAME AS MAILING ADDRESS for the identical addresses and left everything else that does not apply blank. Planning on calling NVC tomorrow to check-in.

Thanks guys. :)

Called NVC today to get updates. After many futile attempts throughout the day, finally got thru' around 8:30 pm PST. AOS package was touched (processing started) March 25 (4 days after physical delivery). Although he gave the standard speech of "30 working days ...", looking at others signature it looks like it is taking 15 (calendar) days right now for NVC to approve them. That would be March 9 for us. Fingers crossed.

Hi guys I'm having a bit of a confusion now. According to my dad's lawyers everything was sent on march 15. I've spent a good three weeks calling nvc and they still having received my AOS /IV etc. today after speaking to nvc I checked online to find out the ds 260 hasn't been submitted. Is there a case or any exception of the ds 260 not being filled/submitted online? :(

While filling out DS260 for my father, I wasnt sure what to write for his employment. He used to own a business but sold it back in 2000. So when the question say whether you are employed I should write NO. Also I m thinking thinking that where it says previous employment (for last 10 years), I shouldnt write anything as the business he owned/sold was more than 10 years ago and now he is considered retired. Am I thinking right?

How is it that your marriage certificate has an expiry date? Once you're married you're married, right?

Is your timeline updated?

I don't have a screen shot. But I can try to answer some of your questions. If your wife never came to USA she does not have a A number - so write N/A. For address use her address where she lives. For family members, if you are not sponsoring any one else, just write N/A. Do not leave anything blank. NVC issues too many checklists for leaving entries blank.
