I have seen people writing in their timelines "AOS accepted", "IV scanned", " IV accepted" etc. Do such things appear in ceac login page???

I have submitted AOS and IV packet and has reached NVC. What appears in the ceac login after this????

Around 4 days after each packet is physically delivered it is entered into their system.

You find this out by calling NVC. Keep checking CEAC for the DS-260 to become available.

That should not be a problem at all. You don't have to live with the petitioner in your case because he is not your spouse lol. Just remember to fill out and send USCIS your change of address form within 10 days when you do move. (Sorry I'm on my mobile and can't get the link to the form right now)

thank you very much for your answer i finally have a peaceful mind hihi... that just bothers me thinking that it will be a ground for the council to deny my visa..I guess I just need to prepare for my interview.... lots of my relatives also think that it will be a problem because my father is my petitioner but I wont live with him.

Sorry I missed your question B&T_P, was busy looking after my grandchildren. Thanks to LoveMyTico for answering that. She's a little Jen, oh, sorry, a little gem. Lol. Yes, we were very lucky the way things went for us. Really I think it's time the K3 was not an option anymore for people who have filed an i130. Such a waste of time and energy. Good luck with the rest of this stressful, tiring process.

Finally I'm moving along also. Had my AoS fees invoiced, paid and sent teh AoS package yesterday. NVC will get it by noon today :-)

I hope I get teh IV fees invoiced sometime next week so that I can send in the IV package and get done with this tiring process.

Hi. We called NVC and they told us that they had received both our AOS and IV packets and that the checklist was automatically generated by the computer. The operator told us not to send anything.

No, none of those statuses will appear on CEAC, you have to call NVC and ask them when things are received and accepted. When you've submitted everything required through the portal the CEAC statuses will all say "completed," and will stay like that until after NVC has shipped your case file to the embassy/consulate.

Ringing the NVC has nothing to do with them assigning you a case number.

But...if you wait for them to tell you that a case number has been assigned via snail mail, you will be adding as much as 2 months to your process.

If you ring the NVC, they will give you (over the phone instead of waiting for snail mail) your case number and your Invoice number. Once you have these numbers, you can move through the payment process. And, at the same time you get your case number, you give them the emails of yourself and your spouse. Then everything will come by email instead of snail mail.

We called the NVC today and got fobbed off by them, but from reading this forum we just need to keep on calling until they acknowledge that they have recieved our approval from USCIS.

Then, once we have a number assigned we should have this all done and dusted in 3 or 4 months...
