so NVC has confirmed they received my AOS on 4/1 and DS260 4/5 but she said to allow 30 business days just to review them? Is this what others are being told on the phone? I called last week and then today and both times they said the same thing to allow NVC 30 business days to review my documents.

She also said they would email me once they have been reviewed.

it is just a blanket answer that they give everybody asking about timelines.

It usually takes between 2 to 3 weeks to review.

Don't wait for them to send you an email, the emails take about 2 weeks to be generated. I would say start calling them 2 weeks after they received your packets. Good luck

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

Aw, many congratulations!! Yes, it was only when I got my interview date that I began to feel a little scared of what lies ahead. It's a whole new life, leaving behind family and friends and your everyday routine. It's all a little overwhelming. Right now I'm feeling emotionally exhausted, I've allowed myself to really relax, mentally, for the first time in months. Delighted you've got a May interview. You were the very first VJ'er I saw when I joined Visa Journey. The very best of luck in your new life. X

Aw, thank you so much. I can only imagine the kind of adrenaline rush you must've had when you saw your interview date. Ours feels so sudden, but yours really takes the cake! It's been a long and difficult road, so I hope you're enjoying that well-deserved mental break. There's a lot of change ahead but I wish you and your spouse every happiness together. So glad you're nearly there :)

This is a question for ENROLL and Electronic processing cases. Finally received ENROLL acceptance, they replied to my March 26 one(that I received an auto reply for) I sent ENROLL on March 19(did not receive auto reply) So it would seem you have to receive auto reply in order for them to actually receive it. After you received ENROLL acceptance, when you emailed in your packets, did you receive an out of office auto reply from NVC? And how long did it take to receive and review those packets? I emailed my AOS on March 26, April 1 and April 15(this is the only one I got an auto reply for). And IV was emailed April 4 and April 15 (did not receive auto reply for either one). Just curious as to how much longer I'm going to have to wait.

In my case, they replied to the original ENROLL email I sent, and that one I didn't receive an auto response. What I was told by the operator I spoke to a couple of days ago is that their email system is so bogged down from receiving so many emails, that the auto responder hasn't been working each and every time. Thus, if you sent an email one day, and then sent them an email a few days later, you should only receive one auto response for the system recognizes your email.

Granted, I don't know how much truth that holds considering I got an auto response for the second email I sent several days after the first (being the ENROLL email, and then my AOS package), but I do believe that the auto responder is not always working the way it should be.

I'm glad to hear you received an acceptance email, though! Full steam ahead now. :)

:o The jig is up, I've been outed!

I think a few of you may have put it together already based on our timelines, but anyone who hasn't, don't worry, that's my husband ;) I've been so fortunate every step of the way to have a partner fully involved and invested in the process. Thanks to everyone for your kind words in response to my previous post. This is a great community that I know a certain otter and I are very glad to be a part of :D

Yes, as long as the money is gone from your account you're ok to send in the paperwork.

Hey BOS_LHR, thanks for replying back. I appreciate it ! :dancing:

Depends on you Service Centre. CSC does not, last update is approval. TSC and NSC will update the portal IIRC. I don't know about VSC.

Yes, it does for TSC. It says something like " on xx xx 2014 your approved or reaffirmed case was shipped to NVC.

jaka how long to receive aos email

Once you get a case # and IIN, you can log in right away to ceac.state.gov and check!

I had my case # and IIN on 10-Apr-2014

DS261 was not available for me until 16-Apr-2014.

AoS fees are not invoiced yet and I did not get any emails from NVC yet.
