I have one query here regarding the NVC process.

If we don't ring the NVC to get a case number does that mean we will not be allocated a case number?

Ringing the NVC has nothing to do with them assigning you a case number.

But...if you wait for them to tell you that a case number has been assigned via snail mail, you will be adding as much as 2 months to your process.

If you ring the NVC, they will give you (over the phone instead of waiting for snail mail) your case number and your Invoice number. Once you have these numbers, you can move through the payment process. And, at the same time you get your case number, you give them the emails of yourself and your spouse. Then everything will come by email instead of snail mail.

Send them back my way please... :idea: I want them to review my package and hurry up and issue the checklist that I know I'm getting so they can move on the the corrected package they received yesterday 11am. I have "ZERO" patience these days.

I can't wait til the day that I don't have to think about IMMIGRATION at every waking moment.

Did you ask about your K3? Did they offically close it ??? Your case will move now !! You got this ! :goofy:

You should still fill in a timeline and help others going through the E-3 visa process. The timeline isn't to help the IR-1/CR-1 applicants, but others of your own visa type. It would help greatly.

So I paid the IV Fee on Saturday, 4/12, and I am still waiting for the the payment to be processed so the DS-260 can become available. How long has it been taking for everyone else? I guess I am just becoming impatient because everything else in the NVC process was quicker. I was hoping to have a Case Complete by the end of April, beginning of May for a June interview.

I am happy to see the process the NVC has made recently and how happy everyone has been with their Case Completes! :dancing:
