Question:What info DS-261 does contain?

Since my husband works a lot, I want to help him with what I can, so I want to fill out DS-261 myself and I want to make sure that I have all info.

Tank you

Hey guys just a quick question... When uscis shipped the case to NVC .. Does the status changed in the uscis website or not?

It does for some (I think it was happening with people who were transferred to NSC). I did not get a notification. NVC received my case last week (I found out by calling). :)

Is it reasonable to have anxiety about handing over your civil documents to the United States postal service? Some of those documents are 30- nearly 40 years old and I am going to be uneasy until I know that they are received at the NVC.

Totally reasonable, but make sure you send the package with tracking and delivery confirmation.

I'm in a worse situation, having to trust our local Postal Service here in Poland to send the documents across an ocean.

I decided to pony up the extra money and ship them out express with either DHL or UPS.

As of today, all of our fees have been paid, both packets have been submitted via EP, and the DS-260 has been taken care of, as well. :) We decided to send them in without receiving the confirmation of the enrolment email, as we figured the worst possible case scenario would be that we'd have to resubmit them at a later date.

As I understood, we should call and ask if they received it yet. They will communicate with the beneficiary as well, right?
