Grr, bummer. I was advised by someone else on here (can't remember who) to send it ASAP with the cover sheet from the payment portal. So that's what I did.

with respect to NLR

i saw a few here who sent in response to their checklist using the coversheeet in pymt portal. as far as i remember it is nobby7 but i forgot the other 1. but with nobby7 he hasn't rcvd any checklist yet when he "auto-correct-response" to his mistake. and there is also IRRA who used the coversheet for AOS in sending in their IV package..

both case complete last march.

dont overthink, maybe it wil only delay you a week (just kidding)

Did the checklist you received today match the items you already corrected and submitted ahead of time?

They probably sent you the checklist because they did not see your corrected AOS yet. You said NVC just received your corrected AOS via USPS today, so you gotta give them some time to log it.

I also would not worry about the difference in address on the barcode sheet. I believe Kaylara previously found out from one of her inside NVC buddies that all they do is walk your packet to the appropriate office in the same building. Just keep calling to check when they receive your docs.

Yeah the checklist is the same for what I sent in. I contacted the senator because the checklist was a mistake. They told me I wrote the wrong info for 2012 income, but it was the right number (I checked like a million times). They also said I needed proof of employment, but I don't because I live/work abroad and will quit the job to move to the USA. So I basically sent in the same things with a cover letter explaining it.

What I'm worried about is if the cover letter I sent in with the explanation is enough, then a supervisor review would delay the case.

just called NVC asking if they already accepted our AOS checklist, and the representative answered me "well I think so ma'am coz you already have your case complete as of 4/11. LOL made me smile and forgot to ask about our son's case. im on hold again with them LOL. thank you GOD

My joint-sponsor files MFJ with her husband and the tax return transcripts have his information on there too. Is that going to be a problem at NVC?

I see. Yeah the error on your 2012 tax info seems weird, specially if you are already positive it was correct. For the other error, what is the item# they are listing on the checklist? Did you provide an explanation in your original AOS on how you satisfy the US domicile requirement?

Not sure how your case would be affected by a supervisor's review on top of the regular review, but if anything, you can always call to track the status of your AOS.

Ok people, how come no one told me that when you receive a checklist, the specific checklist item is at the very end of the last page??

I received an email from NVC today and I was freaking out in suspense, reading every single line of the document until I finally got to the bottom of page 3: False checklist for my IV docs. Phew!

BTW, congratulations to everyone who received a case complete today!!

This is what the website shows. DS-261 completed, AOS fees paid, IV fees paid, and DS260 completed.

Anyway i have called NVC guys yesterday and they confirmed that they received my IV packet also and now same ans (30 business days)

waiting for my case to get complete...........

Hello VJ Family, I'd like to share with you a good news, my expedite request was approved!

NVC forwarded my file to the China consulate on April 10.

I really did not expect the approval as it was rejected by USCIS in November.

After reading some posts that expedite at NVC stage will cause more delays as the "US DIPLOMATIC PAPERS" will be held by China Customs for weeks, I actually hoped that they denied my request.

Luckily NVC did not forward my physical file via DHL, buy electronically. The China Consulate received the file and entered to their system in 2 days.

Interview Scheduling is fairly easy via http://ustraveldocs.com,there are plenty slots available. I was able to find one available in 8 days, see my signature for more info.

Here are my Tips for those who may consider an expedite and beneficiary from China:

Timing is the key: do not send expedite too quickly, if NVC or the China consulate approved your request before EP is accepted, NVC might forward your physical file, then you'll fall into China Customs delay trap. Better time is after EP accepted or 2 weeks after EP request sent.

Also NVC forwarded my request to China Consulate , it's upon the Consulate to make decision, comparing USCIS, I feel it's much easier getting approved at Consulate than USCIS, so even if you got denied at USCIS , you may still want to consider resend request at NVC, and you'll get more attention as NVC as you have pending expedite.

Just called NVC few minutes ago, on hold 35 minutes to get 30 seconds of conversation . They tell me that my case has been received on April 11 and not into the system yet, wait for 30 calendar days for them to generate the case number. The last time I called on April 7, they said " your case just arrived today......" . Both times I called, they answered really quick after I gave them USCIS case number. It made me feel like they didn't check on the system. Anyone has a the same issue?

That is exactly what I was planning to do tomorrow. Several of us who completed all the steps by end of March are waiting for their CC... Hoping this to happen soon and a June Interview.
