I was playing around with the "received by NVC" data on the spreadsheet out of curiosity since I know a lot of you are waiting. Looking at 2014 cases that do not have case completes, the following are average wait times between NOA2 and NVC receiving case:

Texas

22.5 days

Nebraska

17.5 days

California

11 days

Whatever CSC is doing, can the other service centers please do the same? Worth noting the more recent case entries for NSC and TSC are more like ~2 weeks to being received... just trying to soothe the fears out there that cases are being lost ;)

good to knowww :dance::) btw my marriage certificate is only good for 6 months so I might get it next month i DONT think this nvc process will take more than 4 months right?

So my husbands interview will definately be after April 14th. I sent in an extension request, but after calling the IRS today they told me I will not receive any confirmation to show at the immigration interview. I attempted to file today using my husband's passport to apply for an ITIN and they said he has to be present to apply.

Can I just send my husband with the certified mail receipt and my W2 for 2013 to his interview?

* 21 APR 2016 - 90 Days before husbands conditional green card expires

The average is about 2 months spent in NVC once you get your case number -- but getting a case number can take a good month on its own. I don't know how long it will take for you to actually receive your marriage certificate, but if it's more or less immediate then waiting until next month should be just fine :)

The average is about 2 months spent in NVC once you get your case number -- but getting a case number can take a good month on its own. I don't know how long it will take for you to actually receive your marriage certificate, but if it's more or less immediate then waiting until next month should be just fine :)

TSC is the worst.

Texas really is awful, I was floored to see that number. Seems like their worst days are behind them in terms of shipping though, the low point was for December and January NOA2s. I'm glad they shaped up and got you through LoveMyTico!

Yep, I think they were tired of hearing from me.

I had to laugh .... Yesterday I received a service request reponse in the mail from March 5th. It said my file is being reviewed and I should hear something within 60 days.... Can you guess what choice words I used when reading that ??? !!! It goes to show that they really have no clue. Each department runs its own show... I guess 11 months isn't long enough... you know what they can do with their 60 days... right?

I put in a service request in November and in February (after approval) I got a letter saying "your file has been approved and has been shipped to NVC"

Hello all, i have paid AOS fee and received cover letter from NVC in email for AOS documents.

Could someone please help me if for IV documents, will i receive a different cover letter again from NVC?? or it is the same??

As soon as your IV fees are invoiced and you have made the payment, you will have your bar coded cover sheet. After you have made the payment, wait until the money has been actually drawn from your bank account. Then mail you IV package with the cover sheet on top.
