Well, if you filed a 1040, you were supposed to use total income, not adjusted gross income. You can wait and see if they catch it or not (sometimes they don't), but if you want to be preemptive, yes, you can send the 2013 tax transcripts as well as a corrected I-864.

I can't wait to have a normal life where I actually look forward to the weekend. This process has me wishing time away. Life is so short and I am sure one day we will be looking back but DANG... this is ridiculous. I am so stressed out about this dumb-a$$ attorney. What's done is done. I guess I have no choice but to wait and see what happens. I hate waiting. I waited long enough. So the best case scenario is that my documents are accepted and we get a CC by the end of April. Please God show some mercy !!

When you send in a checklist, do you have to send in an entire new I864?

Also, do you have to wait for a barcode or something to be sent? Or just send it in. I was hoping to get it out today.

You should print out the Cover page and include it with the checklist. You do not need to send in the whole I-864, just what was mistaken. Since NVC sometimes seems so oblivious of what is in front of them, I would also suggest attach a letter explaining what you are sending, why, and what is the correction that was made. ^__^

Oh God I hope for this too. Our case has been received on March 17th, 2014. The number should be assigned within the following 2 weeks I believe. Better sooner than later, but who knows?

I wrote a very detailed cover letter for the checklist. (just like I had to do for USCIS when they said my certified marriage certificate was not registered) Guess I need to wait for NVC to actually email me the checklist though.

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum have just recently received NOA2 on our I-130. We have an issue though, we received the I-797, Notice of Action, and it's saying I'm in the US and to apply for AOS. I'm not in the US so it's saying to file I-824 and pay $405 for the pleasure of their mistake. Anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome if so?

In the meantime we've raised another Service Request with USCIS.

You do not need to wait for the checklist. Send it now with the original cover page. Also, you do need to send in all 9 pages of the I-864

Probably sooner. Things seem to be moving faster at NVC

Take this time to finish your preparation.

Have your AOS and IV packets ready to go.

When you get your number everything will move very quickly. :)

Twice a day? For hours?? I'm so jealous!!! My husband and I can only make Saturday morning (Malaysian Time) which is Friday night in the US where he is. And that too only for a couple of hours. Our schedules never line up :cry: Being on opposite ends of the earth totally sucks!!

Aw shame! yeah we are only 5 hrs time dif so i get to eat breakfast while he eats lunch, and i get to eat my dinner while he gets ready for bed
