i am planing to go down to my country while my parents do interview.

so not sure it will help if my parents got some problem that they can't explain well

so may be i can inform to the officer while he is doing interview to my parents.

would that be good idea?

any suggestion???

yes its a good idea accompanying them since you were the one who filled up the ds-260 you can explain the correction better than them.

The system is indeed broken. It is the product of a fallen nature that dishonors marriage and family.

It is my faith in God that has brought me through this year without my family. I expose that need

in prayer each day and something of eternal value is accomplished in my heart as I commit all to Him.

i really appreciated your post. being a christian myself, I am also questioning whats going on? why the delay is... is it something that I did wrong or what is it... :/ I know i shouldn't waiver in my faith either... sigh.

I was also resigned to the fact that I wasn't going to hear anything this week. So I called up this morning to ask if I was going to have a problem since my case would probably still be pending after April 15th, and then they told me I had Case Complete as of this morning! You're right around the same dates as me, so you're probably going to get a case complete shortly! Maybe you can contact the embassy and ask them to schedule you earlier because of the baby?

How should I contact the embassy? I will call again this evening... It appears like our timelines are at the same time frame... :/

It's getting really bad for my husband and I emotionally and psychologically. I really can't plan anything... thankfully I'm staying with my parents, but it's hard not being able to plan to rent an apartment and set up stuff for the baby :cry::cry::cry:

I'm not entirely sure exactly how this works, but I've had good luck emailing the Consulate in Amsterdam and getting a response to questions, even before I have an interview date.

Maybe you can email them now and tell them that you're waiting on your case completion which should happen within the next week or two, and you are requesting as early an interview date as possible, because you are going to be having your baby about the same time you are expecting him to get his visa. June 9th is a good day. My son will be 18 !! GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING. It has been a long journey for sure.

If not the transcripts, send in all worksheets and forms that were used to do the taxes.

As for the 864 original vs copy question, clearly the 864 form especially the page with the date and signature need to be original, but everything else ie tax forms and proof of citizenship are essentially copies. Perhaps discussions about people who file electronically added to your confusion on the issue? As they don't send anything original as it's all scanned and emailed. :)

The girl in the doctors told me it would take 3 days so I rang on the third day to see if they had sent the report and they had! Just call them.

Case Complete this morning!

Congratulations! Finally! Hope he has the visa in his hand very soon!

I-130 STAGE

16th May 2013- I-130 PD Date
30th Dec 2013- Transferred to TSC
13th Mar 2014- I-130 Approved
20th Mar 2014- Cased shipped to NVC.

NVC STAGE
--------------------------------
28th Mar 14 Case received at NVC
28th Apr 14 Case # & IIN assigned
13th May 14 AOS package scanned into the system
14th May 14 DS260 available/completed.
20th May 14 IV package scanned into the system

12th June 14 AOS checklist- NVC error-

13th June 14 Supervisor review, said she would remove it when spoke to her. (Up to 30 business days).

28th July 14 CASE COMPLETE!!!!

19th August 2014- Medical

5th September 2014- Interview @ London

05th Sep 2014-Interview

05th Sep 2014- APPROVED! Visa Status Issued same day!

10th Sep 2014- Visa in hand

18th September 2014- POE ORLANDO FL! DISNEY!! :dancing:

So my husband called USCIS Tuesday and they said they sent the case to NVC. NVC says they didn't receive the case as of April 9. Husband called USCIS again informing them of same. The IO told him they mailed off the case long back and if by Friday the case is not received by USCIS, then put in a complaint on Monday. NVC says the case must have been misplaced and write an e-mail to them.

March 28th. My DS260 was logged into their system at the same time. I'll add those to my spoilers.

I'm the beneficiary, wife of USC.
12/30/2012: Got engaged.
1/16/2013: Got married in India.

I-130:
2/28/2013: Attorney mailed the I-130 from a U.S. address.
3/4/2013: Priority date, NOA1.
11/6/2013: Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

1/6/2014: 60 days of transfer are up, put in an e-request, given 30 days' time. Contacted the senator. Senator asked to wait till Feb 6 and if nothing then she will do something.
2/5/2014: Website status changed to RFE.
2/10/2014: Attorney gets RFE. They need G325A and photos of both me and husband, original marriage certificate, copy of marriage record and it's translation.
2/15/2014: Mailed the requisite documents to husband.
2/19/2014: Documents received by husband.
2/24/2014: RFE mailed.
2/26/2014: Case status changed to RFE review.
3/6/2014: After 367 days, NOA2.

After approval kept calling NVC but NVC always had one reply, file was not in their system. Husband too called USCIS National Customer Service Center and was told case was sent to NVC.
4/2/2014: Write to NSCFollowup to know about the status of the petition.
4/10/2014: Put in a ?service request with USCIS starting with OVP to locate case.
4/16/2014: Reply from NSCFollowup that the U.S. law prohibited that office from responding to anyone other than the petitioner and to have the petitioner contact them.
4/18/2014: Sent email to NVC Research to locate the case.
4/22/2014: Petitioner sent email to NSCFollowup
5/14/2014: Receive email from NVC Research that they do not have a record of receiving the petition.
5/16/2014: Congressman's immigration caseworker contacted supervisor at NSC who said the petition is pending and will be dispatched in two weeks.
5/27/2014: Petitioner received response from NSCFollowup that the case was pending an internal extended review. Really?
6/19/2014: USCIS case status change, "On June 19, 2014, we shipped this case..."
7/1/2014: Case received at NVC.
7/14/2014: NVC case number assigned.
8/1/2014: AOS and IV fees invoiced.
8/2/2014: AOS and IV fees paid.
8/5/2014: AOS and IV fees status changed to paid.
8/6/2014: AOS and IV packages mailed, completed and submitted DS-260.
8/7/2014: AOS and IV packages delivered to NVC.
8/8/2014: AOS and IV packages put into the system (scanned).
9/20/2014: Get the 60-day email.
9/30/2014: Case Complete!
10/3/2014: Interview scheduled for November 7.
10/20/2014: Medical appointment.

11/07/2014: Interview.

11/29/2014: POE JFK.
